Barack Obama flings a memorial rose at Ground Zero like he’s a kid tossing pennies into a fountain at the shopping mall — or a spectator tossing flowers at a bullfight.
He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

By contrast, John McCain and his wife kneel and gently, somberly, place their roses down at the foot of the 9/11 tribute.

You can see it in other videos, too. The more people cheer him, wave at him, applaud him, the more relaxed he gets. His whole carriage changes, his shoulders relax. His face just lights up.
Obama is not at ease with silence.
It’s called respect. Obama will learn some come Nov.

In all fairness to obambi, actually, if you watch the entire clip, like on fox or msnbc, obama did shake everyone’s hand. He did not ignore anyone. What you see on malkin’s site is obama waiting for McCain to finish up. Obama had already been through the line.
He was acting like a kid whose was forced to go to a grown-up event.
I watched that rose ceremony and his “tossing it” was the thing that really jarred my feelings. I felt it was wrong before I ever read anything that was said about it. Just as Americans voting for a man who had ANY background with the religion that sponsored the murderers that caused 9/11. Did anyone else feel nauseated by Obama’s being on that site where so many of Americans were MURDERED by RADICAL MUSLIMS? His being there was offensive to me!
It seemed to me that not only was Obama seeming uncomfortable, but out of place and just going through the motions. Also, I noticed the looks on the some of the uniformed men, as they went through the line (in the Pt2 video) and they did not look happy to be shaking Obama’s hand. And I also noticed more people reached out to shake McCain’s hand, than Obama....
On a side note...Cindy McCain is a classy lady, I think she’ll be a good First Lady.
To be a “good” president you have to know protocol. The way he threw his rose down shows he doesn’t get it.
