Heard a radio report a bit ago on WLW in which someone affiliated with this poll maintained that Ohio is now "McCain's to lose." Not sure I'd go as far to say that, but Ohio certainly seems to be trending for McPalin.

Here's a .pdf file of this particular Ohio Poll: http://www.700wlw.com/cc-common/mlib/1209/09/1209_1221228001.pdf

McCain's 4 point lead is a "slight lead".

Obama's leads are cause for celebration! Trot out Kool & the Gang!

We'll win Ohio. That leaves the big fight over MI and PA and now west in Washington State, where McCain Palin can spend some money to force Obama to hold a Left Coast state in his column.

The Obama Campaign is in a flat-spin. Their internal numbers are horrible if they are seriously sending up trial balloons on possibly dropping Biden.

The best news was out of Washington state. McCain, I’m confident, is leading in Washington, Ohio, and possibly Pennsylvania. Minnesota is also in play, and Wisconsin is within the MOE, as well.

The only thing McCain can do to screw this up is to have a disastrous debate. It’s not in the bag, yet, but the Democrats are seeing the election flash before their eyes.

If anyone wants a good laugh, go over to the Andrew Sullivan blog. He claims the McCain campaign is imploding. LOL

Can you be more specific on those trial balloons? The only public speculation I've seen is by Biden himself saying she would be a better candidate.

My home state is not a problem. McCain will win here.

McCain has been performing very well. He has graciously spoke in ‘enemy’ territory with class, intelligence, and humor. I give him a lot of credit. He gave us our Sarah.

I believe the UC Ohio Poll is one of the most accurate in the State. A pollster I know in New England, who is from Ohio, told me this.

You are right to be cautious. The very positive sign is that the trends are national more so than local or provincial. This means that McCain / Palin are hitting the mark on big issues like national security, energy policy and dare I say, presidential demeanor. Palin is magnificent, but McCain is presidential. Obama is looking very small in comparison. This strikes people on a fundamental level and crowds out a lot of the targeted things that Obama is selling like his tax plans and more income redistribution. McCain / Palin is winning at the national level and a lot of the blue states are really taking notice.

If McCain / Palin continue on this path it won’t be long until we here that things are getting tight in California. Seriously.

You’re right. The Ohio Poll has a good reputation for accuracy.
