This report may be be breaking news of immense national political importance as a direct result of what the NEIN Blog has previously described as “The Palin Effect.”

According to a an exclusive source close to the Northeast Intelligence Network, the possibility exists for a major change to the Democrat presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Our source, citing other highly reliable sources, states that Senator Joe Biden will withdraw as the Democrat Vice-Presidential candidate, possibly due to some imminent medical emergency. These sources go on to state that negotiations have occured between Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to replace Senator Biden on the ticket with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Rush said it would happen and to give him credit for saying it first.

The only thing such speculation coming from Democrats tells me is that internal polling much be far worse than what we’re seeing in public. Far worse.

I still don’t buy it. It’s the kiss of death to a campaign to change running mates mid-stream. The public will look at Obama as indecisive and a poor judge of men. Not the person one wants in the WH.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Don’t underestimate Democrats. Well, I don’t. I’m simply very, no highly skeptical. Could it happen? Sure. Will the public buy medical reasons? Nah. There’s the rub.

In that case, could you confirm that the surprise replacement choice for Joe Biden is Walter Mondale?

Mondale: “Hey, I’m rested, ready, I’ve lost in all 50 states, I got nowhere to go but UP!”

I think there is a better than 50/50 chance hellery! will replace Biden. It strengthens the ticket and gives the pantsuit a springboard for the next elections should they lose. What do you think bill and barry were talking about when they met???

Keep in mind that political pressure drives politics - especially Democratic politics that sway like the wind to and fro.

It IS possible for Obama to dump Biden. Hillary absolutely still wants to be President in 09, and getting “back” onto the Obama ticket (haha) is definitely in her interest, even if it isn’t in his.

If Obama continues to plummet, he’s going to lose even more former Hillary supporters he was hoping to turn to his side.
He may not WANT to make a switch, but I could easily see PUMA’s and Hillary forcing Biden to exit if they can drive a powerful enough argument (to them) that OB will lose if he doesn’t.

He will lose if Hillary is not on the ticket. Simple as that. Only way he win is with Hillary, because then it’s a complete liberal man and woman vs. conservative man and woman fight.

Too late. Sarah has upended their entire apple cart. In addition, at this point, Hillary would be crazy to take the risk...she will probably wait until 2012.

The more the Obama, MSM and DNC try to either smear, besmirch, or twist Sarah Palin's words and experience, the more people all over the country will be drawn to her.

It's because of something the left and the elite cannot understand and are blind to.

Sarah connects with everyday people. She was mother who wanted to make a difference in her community and joined the PTA and it went from there. She didn't need an ivy league degree in Political Science, she didn't need a law degree, she didn’t need rich connections, she just needed honesty, integrity, her faith, and a desire to serve.

She didn't seek wealth, power, or high position...it just happened and that connects with most Americans of all stripes (outside of the leftists and elitists whom she threatens) who in their hearts want to try and help their communities and improve things for their kids.

Don’t put it past them.... remember, the dems have absolutely NO UNDERSTANDING of Palin’s effect; they think that she has energized everyone b/c she is a woman and they believe that by putting Hillary(or a woman like Sabilius-Gov. of Kansas) on the ticket will get people excited about their ticket again... little do they know, it would be suicide for them.... HOWEVER, do not underestimate their level of stupidity..........

This would be great !! I’m not afraid of this at all. Palin would twist her into a pretzel. I mean, the looks factor alone is enough.

I doubt Hillary wants any part of that sinking ship.

Besides it won’t help. It’s not Biden that’s hurting the liberals, it’s Obama.

I wonder if Michelle said "If you meet with them about this, I'm going back to Chicago to be with the girls."

When I floated that idea HERE and made a suggestion to Team McCain, everyone and his uncle here assured me this could never, never happen.

I'll make it easy--put yourself in Hillary's shoes and ask yourself this question: Do I want to be seen as "Second Choice for Second Place" on a ticket bound for nowhere, or do I want to spend the next four years in the Senate, burnishing my credentials, mending fences and waiting on 2012 when I can have it all?

You be the judge.
