This report may be be breaking news of immense national political importance as a direct result of what the NEIN Blog has previously described as “The Palin Effect.”

According to a an exclusive source close to the Northeast Intelligence Network, the possibility exists for a major change to the Democrat presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Our source, citing other highly reliable sources, states that Senator Joe Biden will withdraw as the Democrat Vice-Presidential candidate, possibly due to some imminent medical emergency. These sources go on to state that negotiations have occured between Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to replace Senator Biden on the ticket with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Haven't some states already had their deadlines for putting the candidate's names on the ballots ?
How about some early voting states ?
How about mail in ballots that have their names on it already and people have already cast their votes ?
And how would this effect the Obama/Biden ticket if they were to switch to having Hillary on the ticket ?

Besides all of the desperation it would show on the dems side. Does anyone think Hillary wants to sit down next to Sarah in a Veep debate. Hillary know she loses immediately on appearance, and likeability. Hard to win a debate when you lose those two.

That's the key point. If (G-d forbid) the Osamabama-Hitlery ticket would win, she'd have to run as a sitting VP against a sitting president.

That has happened exactly once in American history, when John Nance Garner tried it on FDR in 1940. He was, of course, destroyed, and vanished almost instantly from the political scene.

Hitlery is certainly intelligent enough to understand this point.

I think that Hitlery is going to sit this one out, because she is so sure in her mind that 4 yrs of McCain-Palin will be a disaster in this country so they won't have a chance at re-election, and she can head the ticket in '12 and pick her own running mate.

Does that make sense?

That’s what I was wondering...aren’t there rules and procedures that need to be followed? Obama miscalculated but the Dems are in danger of making themselves even more ridiculouos...they are always extending voting hours, trying to stretch deadlines, trying to win no matter the consequences to order and the rule of law...not to mention the lying and the broken promises...the only thing they seem sure of is that abortion is good and Bush is bad.

"Maybe Obama will quit and it’ll be Clinton/Biden."

Actually, it could be Clinton/Clinton. That way National Security would make sure that they hardly ever spend any time together.

Obam_Ahh will look like an even bigger loser if for ANY REASON he replaced his VP pick.

He wants to run America and on his first executive decision he wants a mulligan?

With Biden's comments it is shaping up to be 0bama wondering what to do if/when Biden dumps 0bama.

Barry will go it completely alone now.

The new campaign will be called “Unobama”.

I doubt this will happen. Michelle Obama leads Barry around by the nose, and she hates Hillary. She has told him “no Hillary”, and he cannot stand up to her.

If, by some twist of fate, it DID come to pass, and Obama was elected, there would be three presidents in Washington (Obama, Hillary, and Bill), and Michelle would be trying to tell all of them what to do. Talk about a tempest in a teapot! Obama would be miserable. He must have enough sense to know this.

He might as well put a bullseye on his back. It would be a tossup as to whether Hillary or Michelle would get to him first.

The passed scandals alone of both the Clinton’s would mute any claims of the bogus scandals that they would try to smear Palin with, but, they will try.

Democrat/Obama's " nuclear option" of dropping Biden and put Hillary on their ticket.
