Sweetness and Light has noticed something disturbing. In this video, Obama can clearly be seen (at 12:20) doing a physical imitation of John McCain. 

At a moment when describing a McCain ad, Obama adds a somatic gesture to create an image of John McCain. That gesture involves changing his stance and arm position to imitate the way McCain stands—a stance the Senator developed as a result of the injuries he suffered while he was a "guest" at the Hanoi Hilton.

Since Obama has already done the middle-finger-scratch gesture at Hillary and made the "lipstick on a pig comment," it is entirely reasonable to see this as intentional mockery.

The gesture was clearly an imitation of McCain—the context makes that plain. Obama makes no other such bodily gestures EXCEPT when he's creating a picture of McCain in the windmill commercial.

Obama may not have been directly saying "ha, ha, you got your arms broken and a bayonet plunged into your groin and I didn't." It doesn't matter. His way of imitating John McCain is by imitating the man's physical stance.

Barack Obama is a puerile, emotionally under-developed little man. It's appalling to think that he could be this close to the presidency.

When he loses this election—and please God, let him lose this election—some will say it was because he's black. But it won't be. If people had a problem with him based on nothing but his skin color, then he would have been down in the polls all along. Instead, he is slowly sinking as people get to know him and learn what a mean-spirited little child he is.

Sorry guys, I watched that part of the video, and I don’t think he was making fun of McCain’s disability at all. I think us Freepers need to be a little less hyper-sensitive about this kind of thing. There are plenty of more substantial issues to bring up about Obama, such as why he never seemed to have any objection to how politics was done in Chicago...and now he is going to “change” how it is done in D.C.

I don’t own a TV, but borrowed one with a TEVO [wish I knew how to work the dang thing] for the election .... and during hurricane Gustav, I saw Katie Couric mocking some National Guard troops moving into NOL.

Her broadcast was supposed to switch to a video of a Guard unit moving into an area, and the officer was motioning his men with his arms. The video was fine for a few seconds, and then broke back to Couric in the studio, mimicking the officer with her arms. The video then went back to the tape. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person who saw this. I searched and searched for the video online and found nothing, nor anyone’s note of it.

I wrote to her ... of course, didn’t hear back. Heh.

These Leftists are pure evil and I truly believe, it’s catching up with them. And it’s about time.

It definitely looked like a McCain arm gesture. If he is doing this there...he is probably doing it everywhere. Will be good to keep a watch and see if he keeps this up. Nail him! From my youth, (IMHO, of course!), The Democrats on the national
level OWN the franchise on HATE.

I will mention that I just happened to see the opening of MAD TV,
Fox's low-budget imitation of NBC's SNL.

One of the cast did a pretty good job of imitating Obama,
and Bobby Lee (correct name?) played McCain as "Obama" and
"McCain" appeared on stage together.

The "McCain" imitator obviously had seen McCain as he was holding
his hands outward BUT at mid-chest level.
It was a clear imitation of McCain during his final convention
speech when he used the "Stand Up Against..." theme.
But was unable to raise his hands above his shoulders.

(Actually, I'm not knocking "MAD TV" as the portrayal of both
Obama and McCain was not mean-spirited, IMHO of course.)

He clearly mocks McCain’s physical appearance here, but it is unlikely that the media will bring it to light with the public. Obama continues to show a level of immaturity unseen by a politician running for the highest office in the land.

I think the Republicans need to hammer away at his lack of experience and his plan for redistribution of wealth. His push toward socialism in America will be a big turnoff to many working class Americans.
