I believe the reason they keep saying that, is because he was president of the Law Review, which USED to mean you were #1 in your class. HOWEVER, just prior to his attaining that position, the qualifications changed.
I believe the people saying that he was #1 in his class are just repeating the MYTH, which is never corrected by Obama.

That's all they need to say, nothing negative, no slurs, just demolish him with faint praise.
No we REALLY need to know about why none of his 400 classmates at Columbia ever remembers seeing him, and did he actually meet William Ayers there? Yes - 400 people were at school with someone who could be the next President and no-one can say they know him or remember him, isn't that just a little bit ODD? And how did he get into Harvard Law School? What kind of degree did he get from Columbia? Was it an Affirmative Action "in kind" degree, a garbage degree that would never get you into Harvard?
There are VERY SERIOUS ommisions from his bio about this whole period of his life which could reveal Obama to be an outright liar (Quel Surprise!)and also reveal his communist agenda.
Learning the truth about Obama's so called "education" is key.
