Dear Senator Biden,Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee,

Senator Obama has admitted interfering with the Presidential power to "make treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur", when he advised a foreign government (Iraq) not to negotiate with the current Administration a permanent treaty concerning the presence of U.S. troops in their country.

I call on you, as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and as the self-acknowledged "dean of Foreign Affairs" of the U.S. Senate, to bring a motion of censure against Senator Obama for his reckless disregard of the President's constitutional authority.

You also have the opportunity here, to withdraw with honor as a running mate of Senator Obama, based on your adherence to principle and love of country, which will stand as your eternal legacy long after Senator Obama's campaign is relegated to the dustbin of history.

For the record, the Obama campaign has admitted the basic allegation: "But Obama's national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri's article bore "as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial."

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said."

Everyone should write to his respective Senator about this, even and especially if Senator is Democratic. Either Dem congressional caucus was complicit in BHO’s message, or they should disown his action.
