This will be a shellacking by McCain. I have little doubt. I am not even a fan.
I was saying this before he picked Palin and I did not plan to vote.
The reason is Obama. The more he speaks without a teleprompter the more trouble he gets in. It will continue. Just wait’ll the debates.
All of those state polls can be tossed... They were at the height of McCain’s bounce... As his national numbers drop below ZeroH’s, all of those polls drop by an average of 5 points or so
Seeing how dyanamic the McCain campaign was over the last four weeks or so, I seriously have to wonder what’s going on.
I can only (hopefully) conclude that they are double-checking their facts on Obama (there are so many!) and preparing for an onslaught, as they they finish rolling out Sarah Palin.
What do you think, NYC, et. al.?
He needs to hit back HARD... Show the people the hypocrosy on the left... Hold up the NY TImes, US Magazine, etc... All of these should be displayed to the people.
He will have to hit HARD — he’ll need to get the facts out to us through the media charges of “McCarthyism! - McCarthyism!”
I can’t believe they’re not getting their facts prepared and documentation ready to put on-line during this strange lull in their campaigning.
Here’s the thread I started yesterday... Maybe it’ll shed some light
With all of today’s polls, unfortunately, my gut instincts were spot on
The somberness is a bit justified now, no?
This post, in particular lays out my views
Here's the way it works... If the same polling outfit polled states, and national, for the same exact period, then they're equally valid.. if the national polls didn't move much the past few days, and there's nothing state-specific (I.e. -major scandal pops up), then the days-old polls are still relevant...
if you're looking at polls that were done right after the GOP convention, Sarah's announcement, etc, then you're looking at inflated polls...throw in the market turmoil, and the state polls might as well be months old- totally irrelevant...
As the phrase goes, a rising tide lifts all boats.. Unfortunately, it works the opposite way... If JM drops 5 points in the national polls, he's dropping 5 in each state, more or less, across the board
I know what I'm talking about...
No its not because of the Bradley Effect.
You are a good poster but a defeatist.
I will spend my time and posts with those who are actually fighting for McCain/Palin.
Thanks, but I’m not a defeatist... I’m absolutely a realist, a pragmatist
