A U.S. drone aircraft missile attack targeting a militant camp in Pakistan killed at least four people and wounded three, a Pakistani intelligence official in the South Waziristan region said.
Officials said the drone fired four missiles as dusk fell on Baghar, a village in the mountains 55 km (35 miles) west of Wana, the main town in the region.

Booo yah. Nice shooting.
Four missiles from a drone ?
FWIW, 55km west of Wana is well inside of Afghanistan.
The drone fired four missiles as dusk fell on Baghar....wow this has got to have the Muzzies going even further insane. Just imagine living in this remote part of the world and having instant death waiting overhead, silently 24 & 7. Talk about Alah being unhappy with his followers!
“Four missiles from a drone ?”
Likely a reporting error on the part of the journo ... or multiple drones. In either event, BOOM was the desired result.
I wonder if the timing is meaningless or if they were waiting for the cooler temps at night to get an IR signature.
It would be nice if the drone played Vera Lynn’s “We’ll meet again,” just as it released the missiles.
LOL! That’d be a nice touch, but I would favor “Another one bites the dust” by Queen.
At any rate, good rootin’, tootin shootin’!!
have a great day, all.
Drones reappear in Pak skies (Another UAV attack in Waziristan?)

IMHO,
#1. "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring
#2. "Hells Bells" by AC/DC or:
#3. "One Way Or Another" by Blondie with all to be played at around 140db at the lowest level.
The MQ-9 Reaper has an operational ceiling of 50,000ft, a maximum internal payload of 800lb and external payload over 3,000lb. It can carry up to four Hellfire II anti-armour missiles and two laser-guided bombs (GBU-12 or EGBU-12) and 500lb GBU-38 JDAM (joint direct attack munition). In May 2008, a USAF Reaper successfully test dropped four Raytheon GBU-49 Enhanced Paveway II 500lb bombs, which have laser and GPS guidance.

There’s been a picture posted on FR occassionally of a Predator with
something cluster of 2 (or 3) bombs/missles clustered under each wing.
I was uncertain if it was real...or a nice photoshop.
Maybe it’s real, as discovered by four dead men.
I think you may be right. Most of the air attack videos I see on liveleak.com are using IR.
“Something like this:”
Mighty purdy ... unless you’re a target. LOL.
From ... http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=122
“The MQ-1 Predator is a system, not just an aircraft. A fully operational system consists of four aircraft (with sensors), a ground control station, a Predator Primary Satellite Link, or PPSL, along with operations and maintenance crews for deployed 24-hour operations.”
and ...
“The MQ-1 Predator carries the Multi-spectral Targeting System which integrates electro-optical, infrared, laser designator and laser illuminator into a single sensor package. The aircraft can employ two laser-guided AGM-114 Hellfire anti-tank missiles.”
Many training camps are housed in tunnels dug under nearly every madrassa in Pakistan.
Many are within sight of a Paki Army camp.
AQ likes to hide in plain sight, among civilians and PA.
