Free Republic has gone from a place for conservative to hang out to a major disseminator of conservative thought, ideas, news, etc. Free Republic today is essential to the conservative cause.
Please be proactive in protecting Free Republic from left wing attacks. If this means a special FReepathon to buy equipment or pay for colos, then so be it.

I am aware of through a close personal contact that the planning for shutting down anti Obama web sites like FRee Republic has been discussed and will be implemented if Obama falls much further behind in their internal polling.
Right now as I write this, new trolls are being recruited to disrupt Conservative web sites.
My very high level source laughingly said that these people mean business and they do have the financial backing to cause havoc with anyone who crosses Senator Obama.
As for those polls people ask us to FReep, well these are being manipulated to Obama’s advantage.
Also be aware that these folks are trying to figure out who is making adverse comments and seeking to identify their true identity.

Good idea......I’ll send some largesse when the call goes out. I don’t understand the technical issues but I didn’t like those empty feelings in the pit of my stomach when I had continuing problems getting FR to open on my machine.
