I love this guy. Talk about a maverick!!! McCain/Palin should be talking to him to get the details on the corruption within the SEC. They could use a guy like Patrick Byrne, at least as a consultant in their adminstration.
Patrick Byrne has been fighting for a level playing field for small companies (and their investors) for many years at his own expense. Any advances made are due in no small part to his personall efforts.

Erm, that guy is fit to be tied.
For years he’s been complaining of short sellers depressing his stock price as an excuse for being a failure as a manager. Give me a break - if your company is sound noone could keep your prices down for long, I don’t care how much short selling there is. In fact, short sellers usually get seriously burned by shorting stocks that have solid fundamentals. Overstock, on the other hand, is not exactly what you’d call a blue chip.
