WASHINGTON - Former U.S. president Bill Clinton on Thursday cast an approving eye at Sarah Palin's political skills, but would not be drawn into speculating whether his wife, Hillary, will run for the White House in 2012.
Clinton said he did not agree with Republican vice-presidential pick Palin on politics, but warned fellow Democrats not to underestimate her.
"She's an instinctively effective candidate and with a compelling story," Clinton said in an interview with CNBC.
"I think it was exciting to some that she was a woman," said Clinton.
"I get why she's done so well. It's a mistake to underestimate her. She's got good intuitive skills. They're significant."
Clinton said he thought McCain, a Vietnam war hero and veteran lawmaker, was a "great man" and that the election on Nov. 4 would be close, but he predicted Democrat Barack Obama would emerge triumphant.

I’ll bet it’s not her instincts that Bill Clinton is interested in.

"I think it was exciting to some that she was a woman," said Clinton. "For instance, I got a hard on just thinking about her."

Translation.........."I'd hit that, seriously"
Further comments from Bill Clinton indicated that he'd have visited Alaska far more frequently as president if he had only known the women up there were so hot.

Yeah, right . . . he’s “married” to Madam Kankles. A double cheese burger would look better than her. I’m surprised that there’s anything he says that makes news . . . still waiting for Juanita Broadrick to put his ass in prison for rape.
