I agree with you. One of the significant things I've noticed this campaign is how John McCain has reorganized and re-adapted his organization several times throughout the year. We read that as "collapse" as did just about everyone else. Perhaps it was simply "retuning".
Well, it can back with a roar. The man we continually underestimated as having "no chance" took the primary. The man that democrats crossed the line to vote for in Republican primaries because he'd be "easy to beat" is now beating them.
And his campaign machine is so finely tuned and in touch that Obama doesn't get more than a few hours of airtune to make a false claim before McCain's people shred it with a followup press release or biting web rebuttal.
I have to say I'm impressed. I didn't like McCain, but I respect the man. Tough to avoid that when you take into account what he's done.
I have no doubt he can lead. Hopefully we have a say in "where"...
I suspect that in their meeting, Obama refused to pay off her debts.
As petty as it sounds, something like that is possible. The Clintons are magnificent at keeping their focus on the bottom line. It may not be money, who knows what it is, but there is something personal that they wanted from Obama that they didn't get. An apology from Barack for not defending him while surrogates call him racist, perhaps? Hard to tell what goes on in Bill's mind, but we know it revolves around himself.
The result, however, is clear. Obama has failed to placate the Clintons. Obama may find that his arrogance may incur a heavy toll.
He knows damn well that w/o his teleprompter Obama is gonna be a drooling idiot. He knows what’s fixin to happen. He knows that in 4 years, it’s a cat fight between his wife and Sarah Palin. As TO would say, “Get yer popcorn ready”
seems he doesn’t even want to share the money with other dems for their congressional campaigns. His agenda would benefit from a stronger majority but this campaign is all about him.
Maybe he even likes the fact that nobody cares about Biden. Obama wants all the attention.
The Clintons are magnificent at keeping their focus on the bottom line.
if it is money then it may not even be about 2012. Who knows what will happen to Hillary’s political chances? but they do know the economy will tank under Obama (as Trump pointed out) and everyone will lose their money.
Looks like Barry stiffed him with the bill for lunch last week. I guess picking up the tab would’ve helped a little.
Me too: Gore
Did he have THE LOOK in his wandering eye when he was discussing Palin? No cigars in sight, I hope.
And all those who opposed them in the Dem party are gonna pay big time!
I cant imagine a larger disaster than Bush.I hope there was a missing "sarcasm tag" missing there... I can think of many.. and on the top of the list would be Jimma 'peanuts' Carter... If the MSM had been more 'fair and balanced' in the last 7 years (more like the last 35+ years), GWB would be rated right under Reagan. GWB and Palin are much alike in their beliefs... The thing that gouged GWB's popularity (if the MSM didn't) was the immigration situation. I personally feel that the ONLY mistake that GWB made, was with the immigration issue. Anyway, I am going to tune into the 1 hour of Rush I can hear here on the Armed Forces Network... (plus all of the 'fair and balanced' libtard commentaries/commercials/radio advice that shouldn't even be allowed on the AFN). BTW, Rush comes a day late here :/ (so Friday's broadcast is heard Monday here.. so sometimes I may be a few days behind..).. Sorry everything is run together... I had separate paragraphes, but this board almost always seems to slam it al together.. :/
I welcome democrat disasters. it’s the republican disasters that I have a problem with. If W Bush had his act together, McCain wouldn’t have to worry so much. I wish we didn’t have to hide Bush in the closet.
I think Bush made many mistakes. He spent too much money and the budget wasn’t balanced. The dollar is too weak. His PR was also lousy. PR is so important, especially for foreign policy and I think that Palin could be put to good use on that front.
I like your analysis. I would add that the rule of white males in both parties is coming to an end.
Obama should do every he can to let Bill have opportunities to speak for him. It worked so well for Hillary!!!
Thanks Bubba . . . I knew we could count on you .
I will bet the whole clintoon family votes for McCain/Palin in november.
Do you mean President George W. Bush, the person with the will to protect America from another attack for over SEVEN YEARS?
If algore had been elected in 2000, the USA would be the central front in the war on terror.
Stuck on stupid.
Bush is a political disaster...he doesn’t even make the case for his own accomplishments.
The last state of the union was very sad. He has gone soft and Iran, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela are revving up again. The economy is messed up with huge bailouts to failed companies. We could be in real trouble.
