Watch the video, apparently shot by the Hummer (didn't know they could do that). This jerk has keyed nearly a dozen Hummers outside high school football games. Near the end of the video, it is revealed that this creep is an "environmentalist who may have a grudge against Hummers."

This guy need jail time and should be required to pay restitution times 3. If this were a Republican vandalizing cars with Obama bumper stickers, he would get prosecuted under RICO because it happened three or more times.

I’d say 30 days in county jail...in the middle of the crack heads and the dope dealers will be sufficent for the guy. I wouldn’t let him out early, and I’d make sure he enjoys the whole thirty days. I’d also ensure the bill for the act....is paid entirely before he is released from jail. If it costs $15k, fine....pay it via a bank loan or some loan from a relative.

There was another example a few years back.

FBI Seeking 2 Men In $2.5M Arson Spree Against Calif SUVs (8-23-03)

"..About 20 vehicles, mostly Hummers, were torched about 5 a.m. at the Clippinger Chevrolet in West Covina and other vehicles were badly damaged, said Rick Genovese, West Covina's assistant fire chief..."

This was done by the, "Earth Liberation Front".

No. Too violent! Instead, I'd like to see the judge order the perp to be stripped down to his briefs and hung by his wrists from the ceiling, while all the victims of his crime are encouraged to use their Hummer keys to return the favor.

OK, that's probably "cruel and unusual". How about instead, the judge confiscates the perp's bank accounts, sells his home, etc, and takes all the $$ and buys Hummers with them. Then the judge places the Hummers in the courthouse parking lot and gives the victims an hour with their keys to do whatever they want, inside or out. Then the judge hands the Hummers over to the perp, and reminds him that this is a lot better than jail time.

Environmentalists would be all driving H2’s if they understood Javons Paradox and how much they are wasting driving a Prius.

To bad he doesn’t live in Singapore....this would get him 50 lashes with a whip. Remember the kid who sprayed a car there a few years ago? Wonder whatever happened to that twerp?

As I remember it, our Liberal MSM talking heads and a few politicians expressed outrage at this treatment of an American teenage juvenile delinquent by a foreign criminal justice system, and assumed a groundswell of popular sympathy among ordinary Americans would blossom all over and put intense pressure on our State Dept to put whatever pressure was needed on Singapore to let the kid off with a slap on the wrist.

But instead, most Americans (or adults anyway), applauded Singapore's choice of punishment and wondered aloud why we couldn't import that kind of punishment to our country? Polls soon came out reinforcing this sentiment. The "outraged" voices in the MSM were shocked by this reaction, and dropped the story. I think the kid eventually got a reduction in the number of lashes, but still did get caned a few.

"If it make things easier, consider this a slap on the wrist. Except that it's on the back. And it's multiple slaps. And it's with something very heavy and stout that won't necessarily agree with your skin."

He sorta looks like a grayer version of John F. Kerry, who served in Vietnam.

As an aside, notice that it's OLD people who are the Lefty protesters. That's because the American Left has abortioned, gayed, and population-controlled itself out of relevance. While the Left has been on a wanton pursuit of self, Conservatives and Christians have been following the edicts of the Bible-be fruitful and multiply.

The only hope for the left is illegal immigrants.
