Thomas Jefferson, when an ambassador to France, smuggled the finest hemp seeds from Asia (hemp’s origin) to cultivate here in Virginia! He also wrote about the advantages of hemp over tobacco, in use, labor and for the sake of the land.
Today the constitutional rights these men inscribed are trampled upon in the war against citizens engaged in this very activity! In 1937 our government criminalized the entire hemp industry!

I volunteer to dispose of such plants... there is a method called slow burn. the entire plant loses it’s buds, then the stem are used for mulch.

You are correct, stockpirate. Hemp could go a long way to solving some of our energy problems. But we outlaw HEMP and allow well armed illegal alien foreign nationals to come in and plant drugs all over our national forests and parks.

You make me laugh. Just because you treat weed as I treat alcohol is no indication that the younger, less settled, less income secure people also do so. People will abuse anything and everything given the right situation. Thank the guy upstairs that you haven’t been tempted to try meth or one of the other truly great drugs.

No, Mexican drug cartels don’t tip the authorities to other grows. This is organized crime.

A neighbor of mine who was killed by a young lady who ran a red light while she was stoned on pot would think so too. Not speeding or anything, in her own lane, she just didn’t see the red light which had changed some 25 seconds earlier.
The traffic crossing the intersection in front of her didn’t register either. Thank God she had the accident on the way to getting her kid from school and not on the return trip where the kid could have been killed too.
I am certain this will have no effect on your view of pot or using it an hour before you need to drive.
