Uhbama isn’t going to have his Teleprompter +5 to help him out in this one. He’ll have to rely on his wit and charm....*snicker*

And the MSM slipping him the questions in advance of the debate

Obama doesn’t have an ass. He IS one.

That's OK. A large part of the debate is set-up. Anybody who watched the Dem debates or the Saddleback Forum knows how awful Obama is, but let's keep it our little secret. If the expectation is that “Professor” Obama is clean and articulate and McCain is a doddering old fool, so much the more devastating when McCain carves The One into teensy pieces.

Can’t they just go at each other with broken bottles? It’d be way more entertaining, and they both might win.

I think you point is key. McCain can go after Obama for his inexperience and for he and the Democrats getting foreign policy 180 backwards.

I think the only thing Obama can do is try and get McCain to explode or come over as a grumpy old man.

As for Biden/Palin I think Biden must be lying awake at night hoping the mods give him softballs and try sinkers to Sarah.

They also have the exact same political views as high-school drop-outs.

I’d keep a close eye on his ears ( not that anyone could miss those things !!! ) to see if he is wearing an earpiece. McCains people should have a scanner with them - hooked up to a recorder -just in case he is getting any “suggestions” .

I think McCain has a better sense of humor than Obama, and that should come across in the debates.

I've never really seen Obama display any sense of humor. I've seen him do this arrogant little snicker after making a cutting remark on his opponents, but that's about the extent of it.

McCain/Palin has been taking on some hard hitting forums like the View while Obama/Biden has been avoiding these like the plague after Obama’s experience with Saddleback Church and O’Reilly. While some have question the wisdom of McCain and Palin in doing these talk shows, I think it was to give them exposure and to prepare them for the debates. McCain/Palin are going into these debates far more experienced and prepared than Obama/Biden.

" When he’s not giving Teleprompter speeches he comes across as quite professorial and far too analytical. "

"Professorial"?? Give me a break. Every professor I ever had knew his or subject material inside and out and would never stumble or hesitate when answering questions. Obama is a know-nothing dolt, not analytical and certainly not in the professor category.

Yes, Obama will almost certainly launch into some nasty attacks, some very personal, just to try to make Senator McCain lose his cool. By far the most important thing is for McCain simply to keep his smile and his sense of humor about how transparent Obambi will be..... make some light cracks ala “there you go again!”

McCain doesn’t need to get into the slugfest, especially in the first debate — just parry Obama’s lunging thrusts but avoid getting down and dirty with the Chicago machine thug...... McCain only needs a draw, even if the MSM will spin it against him, but he cannot give the lying vicious leftist media any clubs to wield against him in the in post-debate spin. Cool, calm, collected, humorous is the key for McCain, and play some rope-a-dope with Obambi’s attacks....

“...stiff, cheesy delivery style...”

that has to be one of the funniest descriptions I’ve ever read.

Personally, I’d keep a close eye on his head tilt. BHObama has a very obvious tendency to tilt his head to the right when lying. Seriously.

The instructive thing about the typical Obama candidate is what was described on a blog as his “polyps of swollen self-regard.” The idea of his own grandiosity that had him set up that Temple thing does not indicate that he thinks straight.

“Oh this is hilarious. Obama is sweating bullets for sure, Mac will wipe the floor up with him, I mean the guy sounds like a retard when he doesn’t have his telepromter.”

Yes, but what if the Marxist media has given him full coaching ahead of time, with a list off all questions....

Hmm I never noticed that, though I don’t get to see as much video of him as you probably do ( I am in Taiwan, so I am limited to CNN -which I can only tolerate for a few minutes before having to turn it off - and what streaming I can get on the Internet ). He must not keep his head that straight when he is talking :-)

I’ll be watching his lips. If they’re moving, he’s lying.
