Poll: Obama struggling to win over Clinton voters

(WASHINGTON) Barack Obama's support from backers of Hillary Rodham Clinton is stuck smack where it was in June, a poll showed Tuesday, a stunning lack of progress that is weakening him with members of the Democratic Party in the close presidential race.

An Associated Press-Yahoo News poll shows that among adults who backed his rival during their bitter primary campaign, 58 percent now support Obama. That is the same percentage who said so in June, when Clinton ended her bid and urged her backers to line up behind the Democratic senator from Illinois.

Well, they’re just racists. And they will carry their racist guilt with them for the rest of their lives if they deny The One his appointment with destiny. Heck, they might as well just get fitted for white hoods now and get it over with.

Yeah, and try to make them vote for your side by calling them racists. That’ll work. This is the audience the “racism” charges are being leveled against. Dems know it won’t work for indies and conservatives.

Senator Sheets has endorsed Obama, so Barry has the KKK vote locked up.

Each of these polls look reasonable by themselves, but put them together and they are ridiculous.

The 41% of Hillary voters = 7,380,000 democrats NOT voting for Obama. Bush won by 3 million in 2004.

If this poll is correct, McCain should be WAY ahead in national polls.

These polls do not add up. How can the national polls be reading as virtually tied if 40% of former the Hillary supporters are not onboard with Obama.

So this is another MAJOR subgroup that has bolted from the Democrat camp. Still Obama stays just slightly ahead in the overall picture. I don’t know if polls ever made sense, but this year there is a seriously unreal quality to the ones published day after day.

The new map now shows McPain falling steadily behind, with even MO, NV, and AR listed as tossups. As McPain continues to court Democrats, he continues to fail. When will such “Republicans” ever learn? They can’t, because they endorse the Democrat platform themselves.

Obama Toast and the polls can't measure it. Just because your a Democrat doesn't mean your voting for Obama in this election.

Here's the mix Rep. 38% Independent 26% Disgruntled Dem not voting for Obama 18% Liberal Dem (would vote for the devil)18%

Mccain could be up by 20 points and you will never see it in the polling. Even the week before the election day when all the pollsters try to be right I predict this year will have it tied or within margin of error. so when mccain trounces the chosen one the racism story can start. There is no way one third of clinton voters are going for mccain and this race is even close.

“The problem that supporters of Clinton, the New York senator, have with Obama seems to flow from their measure of him as a candidate, not from issues.”
