We have 40 or so days left. We have work to do.
If you are willing to make 20-40 or more phone calls for McCain, follow the directions here. I've done it and it's easy.
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER at JohnMcCain.com
2. FILL OUT this page: http://poll.johnmccain.com/citizens.aspx
3. Check the item "Participate in a phone bank" in step 2.
4. WAIT for a link be email from McCain, or, try visiting http://www.johnmccain.com/PhoneBank/ right away.
WHAT HAPPENS?
The screen will display phone number and names, with the script to use. It has a way to note the disposition of each call. After 20 calls, the system pauses to give you an hour break before your next 20 calls.
I’ve been passing out a lot of bumper stickers and signs. This weekend, I officially went over passing out 100 bumper stickers. It is funny how many folks see my ‘Maverick/Barracuda” bumper sticker, and want one. I only had a few of those, but everyone takes a McCain/Palin one.
I’m also making calls.
How is it going for you so far? Having much luck in changing the opinions of those who claim to be undecided?

I’m also sticking to the script but have had a few discussions with non-decided voters.
So far I’ve found a great amount of respect for McCain even if the person isn’t 100% convinced to vote for him. I will say this, when I get ahold of an anti-Obama person, some of the remarks the come out with are priceless!!!

If the McCain campaign trusts this method, I do too.
The same info is available from Zerobama’s site as well. They are using the same tactics. There was a thread here on FR about it a couple days ago.
Believe me, no one in Mccain’s camp wants me to make calls.

You’re not alone in your thinking, although I have my own (somewhat different) reasons for thinking so. I’ll ping my MI list anyway, since I was asked to do so, but that’s where my participation will end.

Thanks for this thread. I have been making calls as the McCain Chair of my County in Oklahoma into Florida.
This is nothing new as we did this for Rudy in the primary calling into other states. All campaigns are using this info on line and if someone is calling that is from the other camp there are safeguards in place.
