FactCheck.org doesn't think much of the NRA's ads criticizing Obama.
They are, sadly, way off base. This is, presumably, one of the reasons why Stuart Taylor Jr. of the National Journal declared he "no longer trust the major newspapers or television networks to provide consistently accurate and fair reporting and analysis of all the charges and countercharges." He's got good reason.
For starters, FactCheck.org takes Obama at his word that he "believes the Second Amendment creates an individual right, and he respects the constitutional rights of Americans to bear arms." Many gun owners are not so willing to give the benefit of the doubt, as Obama spent most of his adult life in a city with some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country, and, according to every record of the past 20 years, never uttered a word of objection. If a candidate claimed that he strongly opposed legal gambling, and yet lived in Las Vegas for 20 years, voters would be understandably skeptical.

Factcheck is an Obama tool.
Saw this on Michelle Malkin’s website today. Fact Check seems like it’s joined the bottomless Obama tank.
That's enough to discredit it with anyone even familiar with Obama's background.

Obama worked for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was funded by the Annenberg Foundation. The Annenberg Foundation funds FactCheck.org.
Annenberg Fact Check .
Is this the same “ Annenberg “ that Obama and Ayers participated in the “ Annenberg Challenge “ with ?
If so , enough said on this so called “ Fact Check “ subject .
I think Axelrod has a piece of it too.
So Biden is the only person who gets to keep his shotguns?
If “FactCheck”.org cannot get this correct, why should I believe these guys about anything else they say?
Some of the foundations in Chicago that Obama was associated with were funding anti-gun efforts. Ironically the self proclaimed Marxist-Leninist terrorist Bernadine Dohrn (Mrs. Ayers) has been an active campaigner against the 2nd Amendment. (Bombs not guns?)
In fairness, my mother is best friends with one of the Annenbergs. This Annenberg is a good person and not a Liberal buffon like the rest of the family.
Does your mother know Brooks Jackson, the former reporter from CNN, that is heading up this organization too?
FactCheck.org, in the tank.
Nope.
[United Mine Workers] Union slams NRA over film crewCHARLESTON, W.Va. Union leaders say a National Rifle Association film crew tried to coerce West Virginia miners into bad-mouthing presidential hopeful Barack Obama on camera, and that the union plans a brief work stoppage in protest.
The United Mine Workers will call for the stoppage at Consol's Blacksville No. 2 mine next week, union President Cecil Roberts said Monday.
Roberts said the union, which has endorsed Democrat Obama for president, is unhappy that Consol allowed the camera crew to ask miners leading questions about the candidate such as: "What do you think about losing your Second Amendment rights?"
The NRA has not endorsed a candidate. But it is sharply critical of Obama, calling him a "lying rabble rouser" on its Web site and claiming he has supported numerous anti-gun measures.

Just wait until these miners figure out that Obama/Biden want to close down their livelihood!
Question to ask 'em: "What do you think about Biden saying that they will not support "clean coal"?
Yow!
Bam!
I just bookmarked it. Thanks for the tip.
