“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Rep. Alcee Hastings of Florida said at a panel about the shared agenda of Jewish and African-American Democrats Wednesday. Hastings, who is African-American, was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through,” Hastings added as the room erupted in laughter and applause. Rep. Alcee Hastings told an audience of Jewish Democrats Wednesday that they should be wary of Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”

I’d invite Rep. Hastings to go hunting this fall here in good ole’ Ioway. The good ole days of branding everyone into nice neat, little groups is gone. Nobody gives a shit about these firebrands anymore, and with clowns spouting off like this, in my more uncharitable moments it occurs to me maybe it would be best for the united States as we know it to collapse, so we can start over.

I would expect Hastings to hold blacks and Jews in higher regard than moose.

You have to understand that these people (Yes I said these people. If anyone doesn't like it bite me.) live with a level of death, violence, incarceration and brutality that would would put you in the nervous breakdown room of the local mental health facility. They laugh at our little nervous twitches. You got to toughen up or they'll gut you like a fish.

The (unfortunately recently deceased) father of one of my best friends was the head of the federal task force that removed “Judge” Alcee Hastings from the federal bench in South Florida (for conspiring to solicit bribes in a union pension fund embezzlement case, surprise, surprise). He took a lot of pride in having run that scumbag out the door of the federal building.
Hastings was scum on the bench, he's scum in the Senate, he'll meet his maker as scum.

I would like to ask that audience about Obama’s special relationship with Farrakhan and Hamas. Figure it out people. If you think that Obama is a friend to Israel then Tony Resko has a plot of land to sell you on the south side of Chicago. Obama was breast fed by Farrakhan, Wright, Cone and Pfleger, plus his ally and campaign guru Robert Malley was fired for being too close to Hamas - are people nuts! These people hate Israel - get real.
If Obama gets in, Iran is laughing all the way to the nuclear button, with simultaneous attacks from Hamas into Israel. I hope Israel can survive his first term.
