That is very true, the fawning media is doing Obama no favors, in fact all of the genuflecting has merely seperated Obama from voters.

Now Zogby is saying this stuff, it is music to our ears to be sure, but there has been no late break to McCain, quite the opposite, McCain is fighting hard to maintain a tie at the moment.

Landslide?
Doubtful, but we have the momentum.

Can't believe how this race has changed since Sarah Palin was added to the ticket.

And Bill Clinton's support of McCain really has me spinning!

What kind of narcissist writes TWO, TWO! AUTObiographies before he’s 50?

I’ve been betting this for weeks. Especially in times of financial crisis which this seems to be, no one is going to roll the dice with this foreigner.

Obama's respone to an American crisis: "Call me if you need me..."

I called him. I asked Obama what he would do as president about the economic crisis, and he said "present!"

Zogby is a lousy pollster, but he's on to something here. Everyone knows who John McCain is, and most people (even his political opponents) would be comfortable with McCain. Many people know who Sarah Palin is from her life story, her record as a mayor and governor, and her speeches. No one cares about Joe Biden.

People don't really know who Barack Obama is. When people try to find out, his adoring media sets up a firewall, which raises lots of questions. He has no past record of significant accomplishments or executive experience. The only thing we know about him is that he is skilled in how to use a teleprompter. But his actual public utterances are mostly vacuous generalities, uttered in a tone of intellectual profundity. Like Chauncey Gardiner in the movie Being There. Or mabye he is more like The Manchurian Candidate, given has extensive past associations with people like Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers. Or maybe he is the typical Chicago machine politician, as evidence by his associations with people like Tony Rezko.

I've known that from “Palin Friday”!!

Going to get a large Porterhouse steak dinner after this landslide happens from my “Fired Air Controller” buddy.

Obama will win only Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts,Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and D.C.

Nope, not even California.

In 2000 and 2004 everyone hated this pollster, now we love him?

Sorry, I don’t buy it. He was wrong in 2000 and in 2004 and I’m betting he’s wrong in 2008. It’s going to be a close election.

Similar to Dick Morris. What amazes me though, is that a left wing pollster like Zogby would boost McCain after the Wall Street mess.

He might see tea leaves and realized the stance by McCain yesterday defined the election.

Zogby has a lot to prove, after a bad 2004.

Like him or not, McCain is pretty much a “what you see is what you get” kind of guy. He has a definite track record in the Senate (for better or worse). Obama is too much like the Invisible Man. No real record in the US Senate, ties to the Chicago Machine, too many lefty connections, and barrels full of bromides to top it off. America hopefully will go with the old shoe—even though I would like a newer one that had a conservative outlook.

To be fair, he was right in 2000, 2002, and 2006. Two were off Year elections, but he was right about Bush in 2000.

He called many of the Senate races in 2002.

But he was bad in 2004 , I agree.

Despite the books Obama has written, Americans are still asking, “Who are you, where are you from?,”

It is not that the people wonder who he is. It is that people think : Here's a man, only in his 40's to have the audacity to have written three books about himself - who in the world does he think HE is?!! That is what comes across with Obama...his love of self, not of the country.

I mean, come on, this supposedly prolific writer can only write about himself. Nothing else of consequence?

I believe Obama is a frustrated author who was thrust into politics by mentors, but really just wanted to write. So, he writes about all that he knows, and all he really has time to research or recall - himself. Period.

And, because most of his targeted audience probably hasn't even bothered to read his books (they are into YouTube videos only and listening at rallies - anything easy) they don't really know how frightening a person Obama truly is.

Don't be fooled by this stuff, folks! We've got to make the calls, and do our part with the GOTV. ACORN is out there doing its thing, and not all of their registrants are legitimate voters.

I agree completely. The DimRats are in desperation mode right now, and "community organizers" (LOL) are wandering all over battleground states, registering dead people to vote for Obama. We cannot be complacent; we cannot let our guard down. We need to continue to work hard to get McCain and Sarah in the White House.
