totally irrelevant poll...

its pre-bracelet.

Obama was awful, and it will slowly resonate in the American psyche.

I agree.

The economy is going to elect Hussein--just like it elected Slick,,,and kept Slick in office.

Hussein is the luckiest man alive, next to Ringo Starr, of course.

This is VERY scary. It really is, and I’m not sure what McCain can do. The MSM won’t even be honest about him winning a debate.

If he wins I am buying a sailboat. Heading for margaritaville... and chilling in the bahamas til the riots calm down. This will be the real life sequal to Atlas Shrugged.

McCain won the debate, imho, I guess the problem is the famous independents are idiots. Their knee jerk reaction that Obama would be “better” on the economy is preposterous. I’ve met people like this, even “moderate republicans” who say republicans are “war mongers” and the democrats are “better for the people”.

This is not good.

They need to reintro Wright and the rest of the ChiTown thugs in a hurry. Or it could be over.

EQ: How is it that a community organizer with zero business and/or econmmic background is now considered a whiz on the economy?

I keep hearing supposed independents this morning and after the debates say sh!t like “All McCain did was talk about the past and what he has done and where he has been...very serious...Obama talked about the future and was hopeful...he spoke to me about the issues I cared about”

As I said last night...I love my country to death. But I loathe a majority of the people that reside in it today.

Underlying problem is Obama’s favorables. He doesn’t deserve it but has it in every poll. People should doubt Obama much more, he is a leftist in moderate clothing. Lord knows there have been devastating revelations aboout Obama “God Damn America”, Bill Ayers, most liberal senator, and on and on.

It’s a combo of changing demographics and republican failure to hit democrats hard enough. If a majority think Obama is “good” he’s probably going to win.

Tragic because with a dem Congress he is going to make all illegals legal, ruin Iraq, disappoint our friends and coddle our worst enemies, raise taxes, redistribute wealth, stop oil production, prevent nuclear energy, abandon missile defenses, weaken the military and our nuclear deterrent. Oh yeah and give us a left wing Supremne Court for generations.

For starters.

The Palin effect is wearing off, she is being hammered in every corner of our so called impartial media. To be honest she has not delivered the same type of fight in her interviews that she did at the convention. Not her fault but the truth is her initial effect is wearing off and McCain fumbled the economy ball by not attacking the Democrats as the cause of this mess. If he wants to stick to his tax and earmark theme he needs to expalin HOW it works and contrast that to Obama’s.

It’s not over and if anything it’s time to remind America about the radical associations with Jeremiah Wright and who could possibly be walking in our White House. Get the videos out there....and fight. This is just not over...and lots can happen. McCain by far looked more experienced and the economy does not help....but....Rezko is supposedly singing like a canary from news yesterday and it’s not close to being over....

There will not be an immediate stock market recovery, bailout or no bailout. That’s life. McCain should not use the traditional Republican nominee playbook of “things are largely hunky dory on our shining city on a hill” (which he all but said in the first segment of the debate instead of taking on Obama). McCain should be crusading for reforms and warning the country about both Obama’s nutty plan and the Democrats in general. He didn’t do it.

What was Rasmussen’s track record in 2004 and more recently? I mean, this guy was the same guy that ran the Portrait of America poll which projected Bush winning in 2000 by 10 points.

Polls that show Obama ahead worry me greatly. Having the most liberal senator become president would be bad enough, but I'm far more worried by those who control him having full, unrestricted access. People like Soros, Acorn, and allah knows which radical muslim groups, etc. etc.

This is one mission McCain needs to complete successfully. No getting shot down this time or we'll all wind up being tortured for 4 years in the Hussein Hilton.

Look what they have done to the price of energy and now mortgage, credit, banking and the market and not only are they not in jail, they got filthy rich and are now blaming Bush and the market! Don't worry, now they'll fix it. It'll only cost $700 BILLION. Who says crime doesn't pay?

Imagine what they will do to health care and social security, not to mention the Supreme Court with the likely appointments an unopposed liberal President and liberal Congress will select with barely a handful of token conservative republicans to oppose them.

McCain is far from perfect, but he's the only one standing between us and a very bad future.

I was never a big fan of McCain to begin with- he has too much of a history of working with the dems- but I’m disappointed that it looks like BO is going to walk away with this one.
I suppose I can go ahead and vote for Barr now to send a message to idiots in Washington that I’m tired of choosing between lesser evils.

The die was cast when the GOP allowed this loser at the top of the ticket. He’s too old, too DC, and too Liberal.

The comments on this thread are as doom and gloom as I’ve ever read. The repeated MSM pounding a loss in debate didn’t work in 2000, 2004 and won’t work in 2008. Palin still has her debate this Thursday. That will uptick any and all polls. In addition, the McCain camp will have an Oct surprise which will pound the point of Rev Wright/Weatherman Underground etc. 2 more debates are still to come for POTUS as well.

WE are paying for 8 years of Compassionate Conservatism

Eight years of Bush letting the democrats use him as a punching bag and not fighting back—The MSM Be damned It couldn’t be any worse than it is

NO prosecution of Sandy Berger

No investigation of forged National Guard documents

Allowing Clinton operatives to stay in power

Appointing democrats like Paulson

He is as big a patsy as his father

At this point I wish McCain had won the primary in 2000

Eight years of hoping he would get the message

And as far as history goes —He is TORCHED —Because the commies will be writing it
