Obama web video threatens McCain win

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Sen. Barack Obama's campaign has painted a grim picture in a new Web video aimed at getting record voter turnout - a John McCain victory.

The YouTube video, posted but not released to reporters, features a mock MSNBC projection that Mr. McCain "wins" the Nov. 4 contest, 51 percent to 49 percent for Mr. Obama.

"John McCain elected 44th president" and "Voter turnout lower than expected" are the mock captions with an MSNBC "Breaking News" headline under a smiling Mr. McCain.

"It doesn't have to be that way," flashes across the screen before the clip sends voters to the campaign's VoteforChange.com site. It urges them to use the site to "Register to vote, request to vote absentee, find your polling location."

Isn’t this technically shooting oneself in the foot?

Was this ad approved by the Missouri sheriff's association and the association of public prosecutors? Just askin’... Will the sheriffs in Missouri roust people out of their homes on Nov 4th and forced to vote? Will paddy wagons be used to transport voters to polling places? Will the paddy wagons have Barry's campaign literature for you to read on your way to vote?

Barack Obama EASILY has the worst campaign advertising team since, well, John Kerry.

Wonder if MSNBC will demand to take down the ad because of use of their news broadcast?

It is all going to come down to Get Out The Vote efforts in battleground states.

Who will be canvassing on the next four weekends?

Who is going to make the phone calls in the last weekend?

Who is going to drive voters to the polls, especially if the weather’s bad?

No bad news there whatsoever!! Just a ‘voter turnout lower than expected’ because the majority of American voters KNOW that Ubama is an empty suit!! LOL!

I think that the Ubies are being prophetic because I think this is exactly what will happen. Remember 2004 and all those people from libby land who claimed to have registered but then didn’t go vote after all (or never registered at all)?

I would LOVE to see this commercial AFTER the election. :-) *giggles*

...”find your polling location on a map and plot the exact route you will take to get there, don’t forget to tie your shoes with double knots so that you don’t stumble as you’re getting on the bus, don’t overindulge in alcohol the night before or you’ll have trouble getting out of tha house by 12pm when the poll lines are longest, remember to stop and ask for directions if you get lost along the way”...

The problem for them is at least 51% will be cheering the ad.

What the hell kind of barking moonbat was that video supposed to appeal to? The image of a smiling John McCain in front of an enthusiastic audience does not strike fear into the hearts of most Americans.

Wondered the same thing. Doubt it.

...but as I was saying DON'T UNDERESTIMATE DEMOCRAT TURNOUT.

Another thought. If you're the governor of a state with several large urban areas, consider enacting "anti-gouging measures" for diesel for the week of November 4th.

Wonder if MSNBC is going to be complaining that they were used in a political ad and make them take it down? /s

McCain should JUMP on this and make it show how MSNBC/MSM is in the tank for nObama. That'll fire up the folks in battleground states.
