This seems to be based on something called Camp Wellstone. A young relative actually went to Camp Wellstone and he didn't turn into a zombie or anything like that. In fact all that came of it was that he got on a mailing list. It sounded like it was a bunch of lectures about Democratic political organizing and a networking opportunity.

Of course if Obama really was as malevolent as is often depicted around here maybe these camps could become something more sinister.
