Repubs take it back 2 years into Obama’s term and then retake the WH in 2012.

Another Republican living in fantasy world.

I just want it over. Me too. We are going to be going through this crap every two years now. This thing started right after 2006. It's too much.

Gee, is the fight for freedom inconveniencing you?

Glad you weren't around during the American Revolution.

What’s to stop a President Obama from confiscating all handguns by executive order? Then rifles?

I doubt that's really a serious possibility. The Dems don't have much interest in restricting gun ownership these days. They've gotten pretty smart on this issue the last few election cycles, which is why you're seeing centrist dems winning Senate and House seats in the South, as well as winning governorships in places like Virginia.

Anyway, an executive order like that would not survive a Supreme Court challenge.

I will be glad when this election is finally over.

You & me both.

I, for one, will appreciate the couple weeks rest before the next one starts.

I'm not sure what you are getting angry about. Where did I say the election was inconveniencing me? It's annoying me, but I choose to follow it so there you go. I'm talking about constantly hearing about Obama from the tingly legged media. I'm talking about the suspense and/or dread of who is going to be our next President. I'm talking about the length of these political campaigns. They start earlier and earlier now in the media. When we elect a President on November 4th, the 2012 election will start on November 5th. They'll be taking polls about who the Democrat or goodness forbid, the Republican nominee will be for 2012.

Glad you weren't around during the American Revolution.

Me too; although, it would be fun to be on a fly on the wall to see some of our founders in action and how they looked and talked and how the U.S. looked back then--so pristine. And since I'm talking about fantasies, I'd also love to bring a founder or two forward and see what they think of the world in 2008.

Three separate snap polls – by CBS, CNN/Opinion Research and USA Today/Gallup – confirmed that it was actually Mr. Obama’s night.
***Liberal Media all claim the Libtard won; Conservative media (are there any left?) all claim the republican won. The only eyecatching things would be if a lib claimed McCain won, or vice versa. And my nonpartisan snapshot over at Intrade was just one of those things — McCain won handily.

Here’s my analysis of the debate results from Intrade, comparing pre- and post-debate numbers. McCain won handily with a 6.7 point swing in his favor on the individual contracts at high volume....

There’s no way Obama is leading. Sorry, the guy is too hokey even for life-long Democrats. These polls are more crooked than a rocky mountain road.

I read another thread that Sarah Palin will be given the green light to come out swinging.

“Rasmussen called me the other day. I hung up. What a waste of time.”

polls are a great way to measure the opinions of people who have nothing better going on in their life than talking to a pollster.

They must have been out to lunch when McCain was ahead by 9 points after the convention.

If you want to believe the polls fine, but their phony as the day is long. There is no way they can even get good samples as was shown in the primaries. Keep the faith.

Pray for W, Gov Palin and Our Troops

Is there a poll you trust (excluding the vote on Nov. 4)?

Well I have loved my country and lived in the greatest nation on earth. It never occurred to me until recently that our nation could be like Nazi Germany or Russia with truth squads—not where I want to live.
