I am encouraged by this action, if only all other legislation could be dealt with, with ease, in other words, what a bunch of horse dung.

Calif. requires restaurant chains to post calories

The day is right around the corner when you ask for dessert, the waiter politely tells you "I am sorry. I think you've had enough this evening"

Don't laugh....it's coming. Hey...are you gunna eat that cupcake?

This is in place in NYC. It’s very funny looking on the menu.

Does this include the Roach Coach. I'm sure the carne asada fries are well over 3000 calories.

There’s more regulation in fast food which costs $5 than mortages of $500,000

Schwarzenegger and the California Legislature have been pulling things like this for years. When you’re not doing a damned thing productive, you have to fill in with something.

“They may be allowing the state to go belly up fiscally, but they did put those calorie signs in the windows. They can’t be all that bad.”

Pass the grass tortilla will ya Marge...

This puss is the epitome of stupidity in California. We have so damn many regulations that it is a wonder any business would want to work in Kalifornia.

This will cost dearly, as each portion must be sent to a lab for testing. Chefs will have to stick to exact fomula every time. I read an in article that went into depth about this a few weeks ago.

I am sure the line cooks will be loving this. Not only will they get grilled on taste by the Exec. Chef but watch what they put in as well.

Nanny State gone wild.

Not to worry. Already posted on the restaurant doors are state required placards warning patrons that food is hazardous to your health.

This only applies to their standard menu items.

Starting today, everything is a “daily special”.

Jeebus, so many of you complain about the number of “fatties” walking around costing you money. Maybe seeing the number of calories in any given food WILL give some people pause before they order that Blooming Onion.

We’re talking information, not propaganda.
