You hear the show from the day before.

Go to Townhall.com

Pick the podcast button and you will find your way to the podcast tonight.

Also the third hour can be heard, I think, on wntp.com at 8 pm, est.

Not sure about a date, but it started around the time that SNL was doing their mocking.

And continues.....funny to some....I just don't have that sense of humor right now, its my bad mood I guess.

No - I don’t have a cat. Just a feeling of defeat because for some inane reason, the GOP presidential nominee appears lost and the vibrant VP nominee has been morphed into a female Dan Quayle. I call it the way I see it.

I think McCain team is playing it coy. After an initial burst after the Palin announcement, they decided to hold her back so her popularity would flame out to early.

If you think that is a sound strategy, you need to up your meds. The McCain camp effed-up with her rollout. There was no strategy at all. Apparently, they figured that the Obama camp and the press (but I repeat myself) would just roll over and die at the sight of a woman on the GOP ticket. Pathetic. Like they were going down that easy.

She should have given media interviews to every possible friendly media and snubbed the MSM until the notion of her being Reagan II was cemented in the conservative mind. Instead we have weak-sisters calling for her to step down. Again, there should be a public flogging for the person that designed her media strategy, and that person should be barred from politics for life.

Mayhap this is the beginning of a different strategy, but it is really on the cusp of being too little, too late.

Depends, a daily radio call in by Governor Palin is easily do able, and will be very effective.

There are 5 shows with audiences in the 5 million plus, only Savage would be left off of the list, and he’s on vacation..

and Sarah will be a Governor.

We as citizens, are going to be stuck.

Now that sounds exciting. Can’t wait for the next four years.

The fault lies in the Bushies who joined McCain's campaign. They are Palin's handlers - people who have mastered the Bush Cringe, the reaction when the MSM attacks.

We suck.

>>>>>6 points behind is hardly life support.

I wasn't basing it solely on the polls, but you have to admit they don't look good for the GOP ticket right now. After watching this stuff for almost 50 years, its obvious that its gonna take a big push by McCain to make him the winner. The credit bailout debate in DC hasn't gone well for McCain. He should have sided with the House conservatives, instead of continuing to push for a massive government intervention. Other variables are trending against the GOP ticket. Times running out.

Hewitt and Geraghty talking about Palin making the rounds of conservative talk radio...GREAT idea! I know Rush doesn’t normally do interviews, but he’s done some and I bet he’d jump at the chance to interview Sarah.

Sarah sounded relaxed, self-deprecating and funny. she brushed off the gotcha interviews. She spoke persuasively about the economic troubles has hit her pocketbook. And I loved the comment she made about her son not calling her.

I listen to Laura every day. I’m one of her “365 Members”. She’s never mocked Palin’s voice or accent. She’s ranted against the stupid decision of the McCain handlers to keep Palin away from talk radio and instead put her in front of hostile interviewers like Gibson and Couric. Laura met Palin a year ago and came back saying that Palin has a wonderful future in the conservative movement. She just wants Palin to come on her show.

The people who make Bush look like an idiot when he’s coached? They were a great choice.

My more optimistic side says that they have been saving Palin for the sprint to the finish.

Not sure what you mean about McCain still being a Senator. Could you say more?

I read somewhere that Todd put his foot down to the campaign a few weeks ago.

I think McCain team is playing it coy. After an initial burst after the Palin announcement, they decided to hold her back so her popularity would flame out to early. Sure, she's taken a hit as things calmed down, but think how the base was pumped as she made the rounds.

Brit Hume just did a segment about Sarah called--Losing Steam? They then featured clips of her poor interviews with the Perky One. They quoted Bushie John Fund as saying she is worse than Quayle and not ready to be VP. They concluded with McCain saying he had confidence in her. Gee, if Barry had picked Mrs. Clinton as VP, would we be seeing these hit pieces? Fox is just as bad as the rest of the Drive-Bys.
