Please watch this video and prevent yourself from becoming manipulated, or even worse, being a pawn.
I fight gloom and doom sometimes, but I'm also hopeful. We have a lot of freedom-loving young adults, especially among our military and veterans. They aren't heard from much but they're among us and strong. We have the internet and talk radio, which were not a factor when this video was made. Putin is certainly up to no good, but the old Soviet Union isn't what it once was, and even China shows cracks in its control.
I sometimes despair over the indoctrination of the young in the educational system, but then I look at my sons and their friends and brighten up. Yes they are getting a biased view, but there are a lot of bright ones among them who see the bias. It is the nature of young people to think they know better than their parents' generation and to rebel. In the same way that the boomers rebelled in such large numbers against the conservative, patriotic values of their parents, this generation has the potential to rebel against the values of the 1960's leftists. My younger son's school recently re-named the color coded teams of 8th graders, and one of them is the "Hippie Sixties". The staff might have thought it "cool", but the kids thought it was dated and dumb. They don't glorify the 1960's. When the teachers push global warming, many of the youngsters go along with it for the test, but I hear them outside the classroom, and they're not buying it. They live with political correctness, and many of them go along only to get along, but they see the flaws. I'm convinced that there are many young people who are seeking stability, reason, and conservative values. They're just under the radar, like many adults.
I'm encouraged by the developments of this week. We have to stand firm, encourage one another, and keep pulling back the curtain on those trying to pull the strings.

Watched it through. Enpowering like you said.
Doing my best to pass it on to others.
If stable thinking conservatives will take the time to watch and pass it on to others we can make much more progress than we can by moaning, ranting, and digressing here on FreeRepublic.
I like your idea about required viewing before posting. Not sure that would fly but maybe Jim or John Rob can post the video link at the top of the loading page like they did with other important news for maximum exposure.
Good job word_warrior_bob!!
And the LAST THING THEY NEED is someone telling them everything is OK and THEY ARE WINNING.
You can’t solve a problem until you admit it exists—they are a long way from this realization—a long way.
A perfect example of what Bezmenov describes: people waiting to be “told” what to think of last Friday’s debate.

bump for later watch...
I just watched a bit of it, enough to realize what he is talking about. Very fine post.
I’m already cheerful, but maybe I’ll watch the video in a while anyway, after I get through a ream of Girl Scouts paperwork.
It would be interesting to poll people who are presently feeling depressed, negative, panicked, afraid, or otherwise in a flustered fluff, to find out if they ever feel any differently :-).
Cheerio!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on McCain’s stand on the bailout situation, and voter fraud, especially in Ohio.
Just heard Obama on the radio “crisis” “crisis” “crisis”. Watch the video and stop the bailout. I don’t think we need anything one tenth the size of this bill. Warning. Crisis. Crisis
Great video. Thanks for posting.
I could be mistaken, but I think the interviewer was G. Edward Griffin, who also interviewed Norman Dodd in 1982. Dodd investigated so-called “tax exempt” foundations in the 1950s and discovered they were quite openly trying to install a pro-Soviet, pro-Marxist foreign policy by changing the way that history was to be taught in American schools, thus leading to a leftist (if not outright radicalized) diplomatic corps. Please navigate to this link:

It’s a long interview, and Dodd is old and frail, but this is definitely worth watching. As Griffin says in the opening, this interview represents a “missing piece of history” which makes many other historical events fall into place more understandably.

check this out. you won’t be sorry.
Fascinating. Thanks for posting this.
Below is an e-mail that I sent to like-minded people. I realize that it’s like preaching to the choir, but its a start.
Here’s a good interview from 1985. It’s good to know the opposition’s game plan. Some of the players and circumstances have changed, but the plan remains the same.

What an eye-opener! I’m sending this to everyone I know!
bump to the top
Excellent post. Thanks for putting the proper overview and perspective on what we're witnessing.
BTTT for an EXCELLENT VIDEO! Thank you so much for sharing this!
Wow... just wow. Better than I could’ve EVERY expressed these things although I have “seen” it through my own eyes as I’ve grown more educated, and more mature in my own life...
Now, if only people could truly see that Obama is a MARXIST himself!
One other thing I would ask people here to notice and consider: This gentleman uses the terms Communism/Socialism/Marxism/Leninism as interchangeable. This is something we REALLY need to start doing, IMHO. Especially when it comes to the word COMMUNISM. Most people here in America I believe STILL view the term “Communism” as being inherently bad. They have been brainwashed into believing that socialism is something completely different.
The left in this country uses the “soft” term socialism to describe their ideology quite openly in fact. Even Chavez uses the “soft” term socialism to describe his government and the useful idiots on the left accept this even though it is painfully obvious that the PEOPLE of Venezuela are NOT in control of ANYTHING there anymore...
As long as there is a centralized government socialism is at best a misnomer. The government is not controlled by the “people”. And, a centralized government that legislates and enforces “socialist” programs is COMMUNIST.
Over the last few days in my occasional postings to YouTube I have stopped using the word socialism to describe Democrats, and instead have started to more consistently using the term COMMUNIST. You should see the difference in response!
When you say socialist, a lot of people (especially younger folks) say - “So, what’s wrong with that?” When you call them COMMUNISTS, all of a sudden you are “crazy”, “delusional”, a “liar”, or worse!
If you then go on to explain WHY you are using the proper term they seem to be totally disarmed. It’s as if they either never thought about it before, or they then realize that you are not one that is going to be persuaded, and that you truly do see the TRUTH.
I would ask everyone here to consider this the next time they are speaking to a liberal, or debating online with one. See if you don’t notice the same things I have seen. Just be prepared to explain the differences between socialism and communism... Because chances are good that the average liberal (especially the very young ones) cannot define these terms themselves!
