It’s funny, but earlier today I was thinking that the lies and deceptions of the left continue non-stop, they just take on new forms. By the time you have the answers to the audacious lies and deceptions of the past, you are beset by new audacious lies and deceptions.
How about Obama saying that he warned of the financial crisis, and that it was due to the Bush ideology of unrestricted free markets. It would take paragraphs to unravel and call out all the lies in that sentence. He said so innocently, yet he knew it was lies several levels deep.
Obama is becoming more like Clinton, who would use the “Soviet Speak” of “as we all know” “we all agree”, etc.
Clinton also used the tactic of telling the most outrageous whoppers imaginable, sometimes right after a meeting with Republicans he would tell the press the exact opposite of what he agreed to in the meeting. The Republicans would be foaming at the mouth and bewildered, “see, look at them, they’re extremists”, or something like that confirming fears about Republicans.
Obama has really taken the gloves off, he’s lying like Clinton now, whatever problem happens he warned of it, whatever disaster strikes, he predicted it. He doesn’t care, he will only say what looks good and knows very few pay enough attention to make any difference. His supporters are like what’s described in the video, you can show them cold, hard evidence that he’s lying and they don’t believe it. I know, I’ve been reading the lefty sites during this election season.

Yes, these are lies. Both Bush and McCain tried to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Both warned of this disaster, and it was the democratic black caucus who laughed in their faces, and the democratic congress which defeated the bills. But Obama knows that the people will believe the oft repeated lies. And the people do believe. That is why he’s making headway, and why McCain is losing ground.
