I think he did fine this morning - and he’s right! Life isn’t fair when other people get/take/are given credit for good things you did. The difference between him and O is that in situations like this, regardless of your opinion on the particulars of the bailout bill, McCain cares less about who gets the credit than he does about finding a solution. My experience has been that the best leaders have that quality.

RE “McCain cares less about who gets the credit than he does about finding a solution”

Correction, “ ... than he does about accepting a crappy solution” . Well then welcome President Obama because someone is getting the blame, and he is letting Republicans, including him get it. By the way, the leader McCain didnt even give a speech, he hid and the Obama speech attacked republicans and markets. Also :

Why Republicans supporting democrat’s investor bailout bill is political suicide

That’s how I feel. He knows what he knows and he’s Country First. I continue to admire McCain.

I agree. Maybe McCain is waiting for this vote situation to be finished. He doesn’t want to be seen as stirring the pot right now. Country First! Maybe after this thing is settled, his gloves will come off.

Don’t under estimate the Underdog. It ain’t over yet.

I thought he did fine and he was poking and jabbing at the whiner party. He point blank stated that zero is not fit to be the POTUS and he kind of basically said that those who elected him were totally clueless. That is what I got out of the interview.
