"0bama is not ready to lead" has been McCain's main line of attack, shown in almost every TV and web Ad that the campaign produces. While it worked well in Summer, perhaps it is time to think another line of attack. "... not ready to lead" fitted well when 0bama was seen as a newcomer in the national politics. As the campaign develops to the last four weeks, however, most people have been somewhat familiar to 0bama. They have seen a person who was lacking specificity in his answers, but still could hold himself during the debate. So, McCain's "... not ready to lead" might have been worn off by now.
I never actually consider 0bama not ready to lead. That notion is tied with experience and once he is in the office he will learn. My main concern is his ideology. He is ready to lead with his leftist ideology. It is dangerous for America. His ideology is formed and internalized during the 45 years of his life (which he hides or the past 2 years). Just look at his writings, the companions he kept (and still keep), and his state and US Senate records. Writing one or two bills with a conservative senator does not negate his leftist ideology. During the debate, McCain mentioned that 0bama's foreign policy might be dangerous. Perhaps it is time for him to hightlight that.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! His problems of late stem from the fact that he's shown the backbone of an invertebrate when dealing with the Dems on this housing "crisis". He refused to name names, he refused to go on the offensive immediately using the facts at hand which implicated 0bama and the Dems, and he has tried to engineer a bipartisan monstrosity to "do something" about the mess we're in. The sooner he shows a spine and starts hitting 0bama hard with everything including the kitchen sink, the sooner he has a fighting chance again.

“Obama not ready to lead” sticks. Why do we remember ads from our childhood —repetition. To drop it now loses all effect and is flip flop just like Obama is saying anything to get the vote.
I’d have to say, considering the amount of ammunition McCain has, he’s running absolutely the worst, most pathetic, screwball, clueless campaign I’ve ever seen. He could sink the Obama campaign practically overnight if he’d take advantage of the FM scandals. But for some strange reason known only to God and maybe some space aliens, he refuses to do so. I’m pulling the hair out of my head, and I refuse to contribute a dime to his campaign until he pulls his head out of his you-know-what.
