The poll at issue here is pure crap.
The Dems are desperate.
Franken could well drag down Obama in MN and hand the election to McCain!!!!

Wasn’t there a published poll last week showing Coleman 15 points ahead ?
To: Eric in the Ozarks
Credible polls have him up 10% which makes sense.
This poll makes no sense...
unless you include it in the spate of “mysteriously” pro-Obama polls that started hitting one week ago.
Gee, I wonder why?

That’s why I’m saying that we need to go to the polls to make this election a referendum on MSM who think they know what is best for the American people. It time to step up!

A 20 point swing in just 1 week?? I agree on with you on this one. You cannot trust a singular poll that is conspicuously different to all the other recent polls that indicated otherwise.
I would not be surprised if this poll has been severely skewed (like the most recent zerO/McCain polls) to try to demoralize people.
...not that I am giving a pass to Coleman.

Folks, the Republican brand name has been soiled by the neocons.
Do you even know what a neoconservative is, or is that just a buzzword you use to describe things you don't understand?

Well, it wouldn't be the first time the Strib had inflated numbers for its own account. Remember the paper made a big settlement with its advertisers for inflating circulation numbers. They were fibbing then. They're fibbing now.

Traditional Republicans do and they aren’t buying it anymore.

Minnesotans really are THAT stupid, eh?

Answer the question. And while you’re at, tell me about “traditional republicans”.
When you are done with that, tell me how you win an election with nothing but “traditional republicans” supporting you.

Traditional Republicans are comprised of fiscal and social conservatives. Buddy, those are the people made up the base for Ronald Reagan, not Rockefeller Republicans like McCain, et al today. Reagan conveyed a vision that was appealing to independents and blue-collar Democrats alike. That’s how you win elections as a Republican, not by running from Reagan’s vision. But, you probably wouldn’t understand that.
To: DocT111
I agree this poll is rigged.
Coleman’s ads are really hurting whatever positive image Franken may have had. Franken’s been exposed for the low life character he is. Minnesota gives the benefit of the doubt to a liberal, but not unless he is preceived as a nice person. Franken is very definately not a nice person.

I have not missed an opportunity to vote since 1968. (Interesting little side note: you may remember that the voting age was 21 back then...my wife’s birthday is November 7 and that is the year she turned 21 so she couldn’t vote until 4 years later.)
I hope I’m wrong. But I see signs.

RIGHT ON!!! DocT111. I am so tired of this down- in- the- mouth defeatist attitude. All these people are allowing the MSM to get into their minds. Negative thinking never wins anything. The more the left sees that their propaganda has worked, the more they'll pour it on. It worked for Hitler.

There are 108 weeks in 4 years.
FReepers spend 107 months proclaiming their distrust of everything the DBM say.
And then the month before each presidential election....

You still haven't told me what a "neoconservative" is.
Traditional Republicans are comprised of fiscal and social conservatives. Buddy, those are the people made up the base for Ronald Reagan, not Rockefeller Republicans like McCain, et al today.
I note you fail to include stong on national defense conservatives in your definition of "traditional republicans." An interesting and telling omission. And one that goes a long way towards explaining your reliance of the neoconservative bogeyman.

If the people of Minnestoa elect this despicable horse’s a$$ to the Senate, we should give Minnesota to Canada.
