Barack Obama was much older than 8 when William Ayers was photographed stepping on a US flag in 2001, for an article in which Ayers said he had “No Regrets” for his violent actions in the Weather Underground.

In fact, at the same time Ayers was in a Chicago alley desecrating the flag, he and Barack Obama were serving on the board of the Woods Fund together: PolitiFact | Obama served on board with Ayers.

Deborah Harrington, president of the Woods Fund, a philanthropic organization in Chicago, said Obama was a director from 1994 through 2001. That overlaps Ayers’ time as a director by three years. It also means Obama served with Ayers for the final months of 2001, after Ayers made his comments to the New York Times.

If you have not seen this program - you must. I pray they keep airing this until Nov. It may just wake some people up.
It’s an issue that all America is paying attention to, finally. This program shows them who orchestrated the whole fiasco.

I could hardly believe my ears when I heard it last night. Incredible. So far, I haven’t heard a peep of ‘outrage’ from the left. I think this scares them to death and they hope it will just go away.

In late 1993, Bill Ayers, now an associate professor of education at the University of Illinois Chicago Circle Campus, organized a team to put together a grant proposal to secure nearly $50 million from the Annenberg Challenge. The money was to be used by Ayers and co. to bolster the radical Local School Councils reform project that Ayers and Obama had championed back in 1988 through the ABCs.

The grant application was successful and in early 1995 Barack Obama was named chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Ayers was named co-chair of the Challenge’s operative and strategic body, the Chicago School Reform Collaborative. When Dohrn and Ayers moved in one direction toward the violent tactics of the Weather Underground, Klonsky, in the wake of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, dropped the pro-Russian communist politics of his parents and became a committed Maoist. As leader of the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) in 1977 [not to be confused with Communist Party USA. Bill Ayers stepping on a US flag in 2001

My good friend Anne Leary of Backyard Conservative, a fabulous North Shore blogger, tipped me off to this picture, which I've heard rumors about, of Bill Ayers stepping on a US flag in 2001.

I believe it's from Chicago Magazine, and it accompanied an article in which Ayers was peddling his terrorist memoir, Fugitive Days.

At the time this photograph was taken, Obama and Ayers were serving together on the board of the Woods Fund. It was in 2001 when Ayers donated $200 to Obama's State Senate campaign fund.

"Guilty as sin, free as a bird, it's a great country" is one of the Ayers quotes in the top clipping.

In late August I googled through Anywho "Chicago Annenberg Challenge." There was no address, only a zip 60007 (which is the zip of Ayer's office at UIC). The phone number was exactly the same as the one listed on Ayer's page at the Small Schools Workshop. KKKlonsky, Ayers and Obama are all linked.
