Warner calls the NRA, prolifers, people of faith and home schoolers a Threat to America
Gilmore for Senate

Posted on 10/06/2008 1:29:28 PM PDT by Gopher Broke

You've read the quote. You've heard the rumors. Now, hear the audio of Mark Warner calling the NRA, people of faith, home schoolers and people who believe in the right to life "a threat to what it means to be an American."

When this issue first surfaced in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, then gubernatorial candidate Mark Warner "angrily denied the claim" and called it "inaccurate." But the audio will tell you a different story.

Oh wow...that’s really bad. To claim that people are Un-American because they don’t believe in what you believe in...oh man, I thought I was mad before.

I wonder how many votes he lost with that quip.

Sadly, not all of them.

McCain needs to hammer home on this one in Virgina...relate it back to Obama’s “clinging to God and Guns” and force Obama to demand an apology.

Mark Warner is a fool

He’s just saying what leftists think. It gives you a clue to what laws they want to pass.

Watch it turn folks.

Watch them turn you, real America, into the boogieman.

You will start to hear more and more of this sort of thing the left continues its assault on America.

If you allow them to get away with it—the message WILL SINK IN and you will indeed be villified.

This is all part of the decomposition strategy of the hard-core left. This very thing has taken place in every country they have taken over.

None. People are so stupid he probably picked up votes. He should just run Warner against Bush and how he’d support Bush’s “bailout” (that would be funny)

And the sad thing is that this viewpoint will help him in Northern Virginia, as it’s 100% in tune with the views of 75% of those living in Northern Virginia

He’s been in DC too long. Democrats/Socialism/communism is like the flu, if you hang around it long enough you’ll catch it. Evidently Mark Warner has caught the the democrat “flu”.

Is there a reason why a solidly red (well, formerly at least) red state couldn’t throw someone more qualified than Jim Gilmore to keep this senate seat? Gilmore was trailing by 30 pts before he won the primary, why did the GOP go with this guy?!
