Be careful you guys. Look at the wording. In some cases Obama is cited as a member and in some cases it is only that the NP “endorsed” him (along with other candidates). If this gets out mainstream, it may make Obama Kryptonite to other “party” members who may not want the exposure. Should be interesting.

What I have gathered from any reading is that Obama did not have the requisite grades from Columbia that would garner him entry to Harvard. His admission to Harvard was requested by others on his behalf (Mid-east connection here). A lot more research needs to be done on all of this...
I read the article and even did a word search on it. Where does it mention Ayres?

The news of Obama’s endorsement broke at the beginning of the summer. The New Party and DSA immediately scrubbed any membership reference from their sites. I actually discovered these archived pages thanks to google restoring their 2001 index to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The pages, were fortunately archived by IA. A stroke of luck.
Sent to chairman of the RNC and talked to them to let them know the link was incoming.

And that he apparently showed up after an election victory to thank them for their endorsement. The connection is clear. Personally I doubt it will sway many people.

“Mike Klonsky joined the MDS board in 2006. Klonsky’s father Robert, was a leading activist in the CPUSA. In 1968 Mike Klonsky was the national secretary of SDS and in May 1969 was one of five SDS members arrested when police raided SDS offices in Chicago.
In late 1969, Klonsky founded the October League, a pro-Mao communist organisation which in 1977 became the Communist Party, Marxist-Leninist (CP-ML). Klonsky chaired the CP-ML which was recognised by the Chinese Communist Party as their US fraternal party. Klonsky made several trips to China beginning in July 1977, where he was feted by Communist Chinese officials.
