I wonder what the big deal is about him having porn? So long as it’s not kiddie porn where is the harm?
It’s not like he’s even having rangi-ruru with a real person.
What’s he supposed to do? Become a monk or something?

Nah - but since he was a child molester, I’d say he should be dead.

I wonder what the big deal is about him having porn? you're joking, right?
Whats he supposed to do? Become a monk or something?
That would be excellent. Add about a lifetime of penance and you've got a great solution!

Possessing the material would be a violation of McQuay's release terms. Lyons did not say whether the material was child pornography, or how McQuay is alleged to have acquired the material.

My only concern is that maybe his motivation to molest "hundreds of children" in the past wasn't actually a sexual thing as much as a power thing. If they released him early because he was castrated and the castration didn't effect his deviant behavior, then they released him early for no reason. They were duped. Why would he have porn if he can no longer do the deed? Because it's a mental thing and he's still got predatory instincts. They didn't agree to castration as a punishment, but as a treatment, a remedy. Should've given him a lobotomy instead, sounds like to me.
