Decision to teach kids to be 'gay' allowed to stand.
WND ^ | 10/08/08 | Bob Unruh

A federal court decision approving mandatory public school instruction for children as young as kindergarten in how to be homosexual is being allowed to stand, drawing a description of "despicable" from the parent who unsuccessfully challenged his school district's "gay" advocacy agenda.

The U.S. Supreme Court without comment has refused to intervene in a case prompted by the actions of officials at Estabrook Elementary school in Lexington, Mass., who not only were teaching homosexuality to young children, but specifically refused to allow Christian parents to opt their children out of the indoctrination.

The case on which WND has reported previously involves Massachusetts father David Parker, who with his wife now have withdrawn their children from public schools, for which they continue to pay taxes, and are homeschooling.

The decision by the Supreme Court leaves standing the ruling from the appeals court for Massachusetts, where Judge Sandra Lynch said those who are concerned over such civil rights violations "may seek recourse to the normal political processes for change in the town and state."

Earlier District Judge Mark Wolf had ordered that school officials' work to undermine Christian beliefs and teach homosexuality is needed to prepare children for citizenship, and if parents don't like it they can elect a different school committee or homeschool their children.

private school and home school is a meaningless option unless it accompanies the option to not pay taxes to support the public schools.

WND has been slandered on many occasions as the articles are from other papers. I believe they are misrepresented because thay tell more truth than most papers and many people, mostly leftist and some conservatives, do not like the truth and can not handle it but would rather dismiss it as a lie.

I have an idea, we could form a “secret society” and stop registering our babies into the system. It’s to late for us, we’re already registered. The new Americans would be home schooled and taught skills they could make a living at for cash. They wouldn’t pay S.S. or income tax. They would need some assistance from we old “registered” for some things. They will be able to use the existing currency and infrastructure. Eventually, as their numbers grow, the old America will collapse under it’s own weight as the tax base dies out.

Being a Mass resident, I’ve loosly followed this case...but I’m wondering where the part is about “teaching kids TO BE gay” as the headline states.

There’s a difference between “teaching kids ABOUT homosexual relationships with a ‘Billy has 2 daddy’s’” book”, “teaching kids that homosexual relationships are normal or natural”...

....and “teaching kids TO BE gay.”

Sensationalist headlines abound!!

(and please leave the strawmen at the door)

Senior citizens pay school taxes. Childless adults pay school taxes.

We all pay taxes to support medicare, but we don’t care free medical care because of we do.

The very nature of taxation of the masses with redistribution to the few should be of concern to everyone.

Good idea wxcept for the fact that soon, money as we know it, will cease to exist....we are moving ever closer to “plastic” money...Direct deposit, debit cards, credit cards will replace physical “money”...

Soon after, the “convenience” of having a chip “implant” under the skin will replace the plastic cards... This is when the government will have complete control over you...

No telling what will be programmed into these chips...Your location can be monitered 100% of the time, your “money” can be shut off without your knowledge...

I know this is “conspiracy theory” but it eems where we are headed...

What about the “no opt out” bit? I could see your point without that lovely addition to the ruling, but it goes along with some court cases in California that basically said once you put your child in a gubmint school, that’s it, you have no more say.

I’m glad I was homeschooled, glad we’ll be homeschooling.

as a social scientist teaching and researching on educational studies (though on different topics) I ask: what does “teaching homosexuality” mean? telling children that this phenomenon exists oder presenting it as a desirable way to have a relationship?

What’s your guess?

If you say anything less than

the teacher is indoctrinating the youngsters into “celebrating the alternative lifestyle”,

you’re naive.

Palin started her venture at the PTA because she saw something in the school system she didn’t like.

"may seek recourse to the normal political processes for change in the town and state."

Doesn't MA have a rich history of tar and feathers being included in the 'normal political processes for change'?
