Who wants to start a nation-wide media protest? (vanity)
Oct. 10, 2008 | JPII Be Not Afraid

Who wants to start a nation-wide protest of all tv and newspapers next week or the week after?

We would demand that the media tells the truth about Obama, the economy, the war and everything else they lie about.

We could make signs and hand out flyers. Telling everyone how the media is literally destroying this country with there lies and deception.

We could set up a website to promote our cause and sign up for protests at different media outlets. If this went national, the media couldn't ignore it.

What do you say? Do you think it could be done quickly?

Help and advice welcomed and appreciated. Who wants to partner with me?

LET"S TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hillary Clinton Forum organized a protest against MSNBC back in April! Let us know the details and we will gladly participate!

I’ll bring the pitchforks. Who’s going to bring the torches?

Torches and pitchforks cost money.

How do we get Soros to fund US?

The media can ignore whatever they choose to ignore.

How about boycotting the businesses that advertise in these pro-Marxist media outlets?

Write to the CEOs of those companies that advertise and let them know that you've had more than enough of the lying.

It’s going to take a heck of a lot more than a protest to save this country.

How do we get Soros to fund US? I would rather chew a nickel than get one from him. That's the difference btwn a conservative and a liberal/"progressive." Torches and such aside... boycott by not watching isn't working. Ad $ boycott is where it's at. Anyone have subs to Ad Age or Ad Week? I'll buy Coors over Bud and Gain over Tide.. Anyone else?

They're too busy flying to Alaska to spin the Troopergate report into some kind of major scandal to notice their media headquarters burning to the ground with the peasants yelling "Kill the Monster"!

I guess when they get back from Alaska, they might notice.

Haven’t watched ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, CNN, or anything other than FoxNews for 12 years.

So I can’t boycott them.

Not sure what else to do, except make a point not to buy any product that advertises with them.... but how do I know that if I don’t watch them.

Who among us still has enough money to buy what they are selling?

Soros, I’ll bet, is at least partially responsible for our current meltdown. He caused the Indonesian economy to tank in ‘06. He is completely in the tank for zero. It is time to boil the pitch and pluck the chickens!

red this from another thread - Get IBD to sponsor the advertiser boycott:

In terms of not having $ to buy what they pitch on TV, you buy basic stuff - soap and junk.

I’ll heat up the tar and I’ve got some old feather pillows I’ve been keeping for just such an occasion.

It’s very clear to me now that Fred Thompson would have been the only candidate to have had a chance to win. He’d gotten out of government, and was a trusted “image” in the media. There’s a friendliness and approachableness about him that would have counteracted the venom that’s able to be generated against John McCain.

I was a Hunter supporter, but I realize that Hunter was part of the government, and they would have been able to define him quickly.
