“The only reason Obama is ahead is economic anxiety.”

Yep, and that's the only reason Roosevelt crushed Hoover in 1932 and wend on to win the next three national elections.

I'm also told that the assassination was the only thing that prevented Mrs. Lincoln from having a grand time at Ford's Theater on April 14, 1865.

Wake-up everyone!

On Sept 20, Dick Morris pointed out a "Big Shift To McCain" citing Rasmussen's poll.

How did tatown respond to this good news?

"Well based on events & shift in momentum this week, I’d say that Rasmussen is wrong."

Now she's using the very same Rasmussen poll to spread bad news, as is her wont.

Again, WAKE-UP!

I believe YOU have the math problem. Yesterday it was 50% OBAMA, 45% MCCAIN.

Tatown cites whichever poll is most anti-McCain.

Last week it was Gallup.

Go look it up!

Gallup showed Obama surging a few days ago, and like clockwork Rasmussen is now showing that surge. Whatever happens in the Gallup poll shows up a few days later in Ras. He’s no longer a credible pollster, IMO.

To paraphrase the indomitable Zapp Branigan of “Futurama”: Stop panicking, you cowards!

Now *I* know Freepers aren’t cowards at all, so I ask your indulgence. But in order to fight the bib-dribblers and spoon clangers of the impatient left and their media elite allies, we cannot let the slightest hint of worry or anxiety take root. So Barry’s ahead? I’ve never seen ANYONE need to limp to the finish line the way he needs to. These polls, puh-leeze: you live by them, you might as well die by them.

Resistance is *not* futile: we are within striking distance of telling him to go away, and we must succeed!

If anything, to see 2012: Hillary’s Revenge!

Good weekend to all!

This is the same exact SPIN the Obama media gave Clinton. Its over its over .... don't bother voting ... give up ...
If anyone has seen Ras on Fox then you know he is peddling the Obama talking points like a good foot soldier !
Yet he wont tell anyone why is built in formula ignores the last two Pres elections 50/50 turnout and why he use this
6-7 pt Obama turnout edge ?
His state polling has a similar awful track record too.
Miss Cleo is way off .

Rassmussen has factored in the ACORN effect.

The commie socialists are stealing America and all mccain can say is "obama is a decent man and no need to fear him as president?"

Here is a link to all of the articles I’ve posted. Some of these show McCain gaining, some show McCain losing. The articles simply reflect the reality of the situation:

Unless you post the internals it is a waste of time unless you like propaganda. I think that we have proven over and over again that these polls are being rigged. Personally I prefer truth.

Until Rasmussen quits weighting by a fixed 6% advantage to the Democrats then I don't think this poll means much IMO.

As said as it is the best poll to watch for some indication of the race is probably Gallup WHEN they start putting out a credible LIKELY voter version of their tracking poll, not until then though.

Having said that, I don't have much doubt that this is a VERY difficult election for the pollsters to have a guage on, which should give us some hope no matter what the public polls are saying when you consider the following as evidenced by all of them:

I’ve spent a lot of time research this crisis. It is clearly the fault of the socialist lending practices of the democrats.

And now we’re about to turn this country over to the very people who destroyed the economy.

People are believing the democrat spin that republican deregulation caused this crisis.

There has been zero deregulation of financial markets this decade. So they are flat out lying but it makes sense to voters.

How is Rasmussen a ‘good foot soldier’? He is a REPUBLICAN and his poll matches the average on RCP!
