Rasmussen: Obama 52%, McCain 45% (O +2 from yesterday)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 10/11/2008 | Rasmussen

Posted on 10/11/2008 6:51:59 AM PDT by tatown

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama attracting 52% of the vote while John McCain earns 45%. This is the first update based entirely on interviews conducted after the second Presidential debate and it shows virtually no change. On Tuesday morning, just before the debate, Obama was leading 52% to 44%.

In fact, the race has remained quite stable for more than two weeks. This is the sixteenth straight day that Obama’s support has ranged from 50% to 52% while McCain has been at 44% of 45% (see trends). Fifty-five percent (55%) believe Obama will win the election, 15% expect a McCain victory, and 27% say it is too close to call.

McCain is in trouble. That means the Republic is in DANGER! 52% of Americans think Obama will be best for this Republic? We are damned. We are done if this is true. People blame Bush and the stinking Republicans. I BLAME BUSH AND THE STINKING REPUBLICANS, yet I will not vote for Osama Hussein Obama.

Unless and until McCain points fingers, names names of who caused the mortgage meltdown, it’s over for Yosemite Sam ... It’s all about the economy.

He has started that with the ACORN ad, he needs to do much much more. And to Buraq Hussein Obama’s face at next week’s debate.

The only reason Obama is ahead is economic anxiety.

How low will the DOW go down if Obama gets elected? Will it go down to 1000?

What will the DOW be at the end of this week, may be 6000?

We are done if this is true.

There's your key right there. Look at the internals. Always look at the internals.

Don't make me post the Drama Queen picture.

Astonishing.

Well, it ain’t over till it’s over.

If Obama becomes president, the radicals, cop killers, bombers, islamo-fascists, abortion murderers, and Wall Street frauds will triumph.

We will be persecuted by truth squads and inundated with school children singing the glories of Obama and his glorious new socialist order.

God have mercy on us.

The mostly entertainment-glazed over public has been kept shuttered away from the truth about Obama. The media is diabolically cuplable here.

This is all a reaction to the economic crisis and a knee jerk reaction in stereotyping republicans as being the “rich and mean” party.

I say the GOP has to more like the unpopular parent that has to make grownup decisions that cause their teenage progeny to throw a tantrum.

Please post you perfunctory, “I wish it weren't true” comment.

That’d make us all feel better.

mccain is in trouble because of mccain.

the news media has TWO rallies where the people are BEGGING him to go after Obama.

Instead McCain has this lose with honor BS going on.

There is no honor in being a fool.

McCain needs a serious dose of whoopass infusion.

It is my honest belief that Democrats are being oversampled in these polls. Regardless I do believe we’re going to have a tight race.

The pollsters and the media (same thing) want us to give up and stay home on November 4th. It’s not going to happen.

Totally meaningless but on our street the McCain/Palin signs have sprung up overnight. For the 5 GOP signs there is only one Obama.

How many undecided went to Barry Hussein Obama when JSM said Barry Hussein Obama would be an OK president and not to be afraid of him?

JSM has turned into a blithering idiot.

If it were not for Palin I have be gathering stuff for the impending destruction of the USA. I still may do that. We may just head on up to Alaska, thats about as far away as we can get from DC. If thats what it will be called after the election.

Actually, you need to remember that a percentage of the American public hates their own country. I work with people who smirk when they say “American hegemony is coming to an end.” So even if Ras is right and 52% want Obama, it doesn't mean 52% think he'd be best for the country. Some of those supporters want America dead.

There's an additional percentage who have lost their survival instinct after decades of being told that the only way they can be a good person is to celebrate their own dispossession.

When you have the most inept RNC possible over the past 5 years (in terms of, 1. being willing to engage on issues and 2. in terms of setting any factual premise before a false one is set by the MSM/DEMs).....This is what we are getting.....A Congress run by the pathetic Pelosi and Reid....and now the real possibility of a complete ultra-Liberal, anti-American, never achieved a thing Obama...

The RNC refuses to engage the public all throughout the year - This is what is needed in this day and age of the complete bias 24/7 MSM.
