Dear Editor:
When Senator Barack Obama was state senator in Illinois, he voted 4 times against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act which protects babies born alive from unsuccessful abortion attempts. Barack Obama would allow these babies to die alone in a room without comfort in their last hours of life, rather than give them medical treatment to help save their lives.
Barack Obama is even more extreme than Senators Hillary Clinton or Barbara Boxer, who did not object to a similar federal law to protect born-alive babies.
Senator John McCain has had a good pro-life voting record, except for embryonic stem cell research, but I am happy to say, when I visited his website, saw that he reversed his position on that. Not only is embryonic stem cell research unethical, but not one person has ever been helped with embryonic stem cells, but there are numerous treatments from the ethical nonembryonic stem cells which have helped so many people.
Senator McCain's running mate, Governor Sarah Palin is pro-life and walks the walk by choosing life for her own special-needs baby.
On Election Day I will be puling the lever for McCain/Palin because I am a 45 million "issues" voter. You see, over 45 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe v. Wade.
I will be sending this letter to a small-town newspaper and religious newspapers, particularly in the "battleground" states.

Thank you for that. I have dial-up and am downloading it now, but it will take awhile.
In the meantime I visited:

If Barack Obama had his way I would not be here.
POWERFUL!
Thank you Sun - for the nice reply.
The web site you pointed me to says it all!
Hope you are able to download the video.
Powerful web site!
Good letter, Sun. Thanks!
It is a very occurrence to have a chil;d survive an abortion attempt and get born alive. What Obama was protecting by opposing the Born LAive Infant Protection bills was a specific method of killing alive unborn children with 'induced labor abortion'. This is a procedure where the abortionists causes the very premature birth of an alive child, then kills that preemie by neglecting to give the struggling child any medical attention, so the little one eventually dies of suffocation, alone, unattended.
Abortionists were using this method for terminating pregnancies because it had two advantages over other abortion methods:
1) the child is killed via neglect while outside the "mother's" body, so no sharp instruments are inserted to kill the child in utero;
2) the dead child is a more pristine source of featl tissues for harvesting and sale to research programs.
What Obama was doing was protecting a particularly heinous way of killing babies which amounts to INFANTICIDE since the Constitution afford human rights to any born child and the killing method was to have born alive children who would be 'negelected to death'.
Barack Obama was not opposing survivors of abortion attempts (the very rare occurrence), he was opposing a stop to a particularly evil way to kill little ones.
When Obama made his ‘above my pay grade’ flippant remark in the Saddleback forum, he was twisting what Rick Warren asked him. Pastor Warren asked when a baby was entitled to human rights. As a supposed Constitutional scholar, Obama ought to know a born infant is entitled to human rights at birth, but Obama chose to say it was above his pay grade. That is not a good man, that is a dead-soul deciever who tried to protect infanticide.
May I respectfully offer the following suggested changes? ...
“When Senator Barack Obama was state senator in Illinois, he voted 4 times against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act which protects premature babies born alive. Barack Obama would allow these prematurely born babies to die alone in a room without comfort or medical attention, rather than help save their lives. The Constitution gives these babies human rights at birth, but Barack Obama would remove these Constitutional rights.”
BTW, this is a piece of brilliance! “On Election Day I will be pulling the lever for McCain/Palin because I am a 45 million “issues” voter. You see, over 45 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe v. Wade.” I’ve never thought of it that way, ‘45 million issues’! Thank you for stating that, Sun.
I finished watching the video and it is VERY well done. Thanks again.
“the dead child is a more pristine source of featl tissues for harvesting and sale to research programs.”
How horrible. I can’t believe this is going on.
‘When Senator Barack Obama was state senator in Illinois, he voted 4 times against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act which protects premature babies born alive. Excellent. I’ll revise my letter.
May I use your fine letter, to send it to local papers in the area where I live? ... Remember our letter campaign for the 2000 elections? They worked. And this letter you’ve written is so well done and so concise!
45 million issues has been my comeback to people who say abortion is ONLY one issue, so I thought I’d incorporate it in my letter.
MHGinTN and Salvation, do either of you know if religious newspapers are allowed (or will) publish letters to the editor with candidates’ names? I know they are not allowed to from the pulpit, but letters to editors are from their readers, so I was thinking it’s probably allowed.
I don’t know. In fact, I don’t know of any religious newspapers!
You, or anyone can use it, and with your help it’s BOTH our letter. :)
As I said, I’m sending it to both secular and religious newspapers.
For your information, and anyone interested, here are Catholic newspapers for every state in the country, including e-mails:
I am starting with the battleground states.
My pro-life Jewish friend sends pro-life letters to both secular and Jewish newspapers.
I wonder if you can get through to Catholic Democrat voters? It is such an obscenity that CAtholics keep returning abortion protecters to the government. Obama is so much worse, too. I mean, to work to protect infanticide of little struggling preemies is beyond just wrong, it’s evil, especially when you realize it was being done to provide more saleable dead babies for dissection by tissue harvesters working abortion clinics!
“to work to protect infanticide of little struggling preemies is beyond just wrong, its evil, especially when you realize it was being done to provide more saleable dead babies for dissection by tissue harvesters working abortion clinics!”
If that doesn’t get them, I don’t know what will, not only with Catholics, but any person with a conscience. That’s why we need to inform as many people about Obama’s extreme antilife views, as possible. We have three weeks until Election Day.
It saddens me to say this, but most of the Obama sycophancy don’t care what his stance is reagrding born infants. And even more sorrowing is the realization that undecided voters likely don’t care a whit about born infants being killed via neglect since the undecdied voters and too many catholics (no capital “C”) now believe a pregnant human feamle has a right to a dead baby so even if not killed until fully born, the female has that right to hire the kill. Then of course, Obama supporters will tell you with straight face that ‘it’s wrong to waste the tissues; using useful leftover tissues that could help others in need is a pro-life position’ ... it is frightening to realize, that is the reality now in too many America minds, and even more frightening to realize so many professing to be Christians believe this way. They are no longer able to discern good and evil, so evil sweeps them into the hell-bound cart.
