Obama: The Re-birth of the Welfare State (McCain Campaign take Note!)

Posted on 10/13/2008 4:19:40 PM PDT by disraeligears

I hope to God that someone in the McCain reads this forum on a regular basis.

Please, but please, attack Obama on his attempting a simple, deft, re-birth of the collectivist concept of the Great Society's Welfare State:

1. Obama is attempting to provide that 40% of the population that does not actually pay taxes with an earned income tax credit (this is a result of his allegedly providing 95% of the "taxpayers" with a tax cut.... 40% of those filing taxes don't pay taxes)

2. Witness Obama's insistance on raising capital gains, even though he acknowledged to Charlie Gibson that doing such will invariably result in the slowing down of re-investment, economic activity, and a reduction in overall tax revenues

3. Mandating that employers provide health care insurance. Obama considers health care to be a "right"

4. Obama's relationships with Ayers, Wright, Rezko et al. While these folks provided Obama with an echo chamber regarding his innate socialist inclinations, they also disclose that Obama will do what it takes to achieve his goal... the power of the presidency. Ayers (ideological), Wright (cultural), and Rezko (financial) provided the political base to launch his career. If anything, Obama was and is a pragmatist (i.e. throwing his own Grandmother under the bus in order to cover his arse regarding his association with Wright and black liberation theology).

I believe that Obama's end game - other than becoming the first black President with all that entails from an historical perspective - has been to alleviate his massive guilty conscience over being basically handed everything to him that he has "achieved" in life (his life experiences being the ultimate alpha case of affirmative action) and to strike out at the ruling class... Due to being half black/half white, he appears to crave acceptance from White America but also appears to despise it given the perceived (whether real or not) prejudice which his being black has generated....

Thus, he knows how to play the race card (and to employ masters of the game such as Axelrod) ... while, with the assistance of a compliant, adoring media, at the same time leaving no "fingerprints" on the ploy.

Obama's guilt in achieving Harvard Law and President of the Review(with no discernable credential gaining acceptance or being named other than the color of his skin), his State and U.S. Senate positions, and now the ultimate affirmative action placement, that of President of the United States, will finally and firmly be assuaged by the re-instatement of the Welfare State.

Revenge is a desert best served cold. Every slight he has suffered, every advantage he has been given, will be paid back in full.

“0-health care”

Abort your baby.

Die after working age.

Euthanaize yourself or we’ll do it if you’re seriously ill.

Wait for ___ long for a transplant.

Party loyalist homeless person ‘X’ gets treatment ahead of your appendicitis.

Receive treatment a bureaucrat, who works from 6:30-3:00, decides you need.

ARGUE WITH NO ONE OR YOU GET NO HELP. AT ALL. And, we’ll ruin you and your family.

If anyone reading this has ever had to argue with Medicare/Medicaid about care for an elderly family member, as I have, you see where this goes.

Can we afford to have health care run like Fannie/Freddie?

What is the Obama health plan? Can anyone tell us? Does anyone know? I can’t get a straight answer on this.

Politicians worship money and power. Every politician worth his salt secretly aspires to be a dictator, although they dare not admit this as it is not exactly politically correct.

The ultimate goal of the consummate politician is to have absolute power, and be able to boss everyone else about, to have unlimited access to public funds for the purposes of profligate personal consumption and more importantly self aggrandizement, as well as to bribe and reward supporters, and to kill or otherwise neutralize anyone who disagrees or creates any opposition.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten is $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
