DID AN AYRES BOMB KILL A POLICEMAN?

Posted on 10/14/2008 8:08:28 PM PDT by MrChips

Please excuse the vanity. But I have been searching for an hour, here, for an article someone posted about an Ayres/Weathermen bombing in San Francisco that killed a policeman. It included the officer's picture. I thought I bookmarked it. Apparently not. And I need to find it.

I believe two policeman were killed in a bombing in Washington DC or NY and one in S.F. and one blinded in the same bombing in S.F. Three total killed and one blinded. The Weatherman set off a total of 30 bombs around the country.

I believe a weatherman bomb killed a policeman in Boston, leaving 9 children fatherless. I think because of this the National Union of policeman have endorsed McCain.

I heard on Larry Elder today that one of the bombs killed a black police officer.

They also planned to set off a nail bomb at a dance at Ft. Dix. To kill U.S. soldiers and their dates.

There were over 300 bombings attributed to The Weatherman and people definitely were killed.

Ayers has only admitted to taking part directly in 3 bombings but Ayers was the leader for The Weatherman so he is a party to all the bombings...

It would be like saying Bin Laden didn’t fly the planes so he didn’t kill anyone.

Zoom forward 30 years...what would America do if a candidate said they had an association with Bin Laden and served on a board together?

Obama is a fraud - he needs to tell the truth.

If you want to get really excited go check out all the authors on Ayers book Teaching for Social Justice, Khalidi is one of the authors (former PLO - when they were really bad).

When Obama was asked about Khalidi he said he knew him when Obama was teaching at U of Chicago...he deflects the question away from where he really met Khalidi and Ayers.

Khalidi was teaching at Columbia in NYC at the time Ayers and Obama were both there as well. Khalidi was also instrumental in getting Obama into Harvard Law with the help of the Saudi radical.

Interesting how Obama, Ayers and Khalidi all ended up leaving NYC for Chicago-—coincidence...what are the odds?

The whole truth needs to come out!

Good post Mr. Chips. The media has failed to acknowledge the damage wraught by the Weathermen. The only family that has spoken up the past few weeks has been the Murtaughs, whose house was bombed in the early ‘70s. Media pundits seemed rather cavalier about the horror that they had to endure.

Here's an article that I have bookmarked which has a pretty complete list. Figures it would be someone outside of the American mainstream media that would report it:

Search Dohrn SFPD and Bomb.
It was Dohrn, the wife of Ayers, who was involved in the SFPD bombing/murder. She was twice the subject of Grand Juries, without charge.

According to something I read, the weatherman robbed a brinks armored car and either a guard or policeman was killed. I think the bombs just hurt people. Put in his wife’s name - and see what you get.

The weathermen were robbing a bank in Boston. On the way out, a cop was shot in the back with a machine gun. One criminal was arrested, but the other was a woman who got away. Years later she was one of those people arrested years later. The media just about wept when she was sentenced. You know she was a good PTA mom and all of that.

The cop left nine kids.

What douche bags.

Ayers and his wife are COP KILLERS.

Anti-personnel bomb set on window-ledge in San Francisco

Brian V. McDonnell, a sergeant with the San Franscisco Police Department who received fatal shrapnel wounds from a Weatherman pipe bomb set off on February 16, 1970.In a bombing that took place on February 16, 1970, and that was credited to the Weathermen at the time, a pipe bomb filled with heavy metal staples and lead bullet projectiles was set off on the ledge of a window at the Park Station of the San Francisco Police Department. In the blast, Brian V. McDonnell, a police sergeant, was fatally wounded while Robert Fogarty, another police officer, received severe wounds to his face and legs and was partially blinded.

Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn has been suspected of involvement in the February 16, 1970, bombing of the Park Police Station in San Francisco. At the time, Dohrn was said to be living with a Weatherman cell in a houseboat in Sausalito, California, unnamed law enforcement sources later told KRON-TV.[28] An investigation into the case was reopened in 1999,[29] and a San Francisco grand jury looked into the incident, but no indictments followed, and no one was ever arrested for the bombing. An FBI informant, Larry Grathwohl, who successfully penetrated the organization from the late summer of 1969 until April 1970, later testified to a U.S. Senate subcommittee that Bill Ayers, then a high-ranking member of the organization and a member of its Central Committee (but not then Dohrn’s husband), had said Dohrn constructed and planted the bomb. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had told him specifically where the bomb was placed (on a window ledge) and what kind of shrapnel was put in it. Grathwohl said Ayers was emphatic, leading Grathwohl to believe Ayers either was present at some point during the operation or had heard about it from someone who was there. In a book about his experiences published in 1976, Grathwohl wrote that Ayers, who had recently attended a meeting of the group's Central Committee, said Dohrn had planned the operation, made the bomb and placed it herself. In 2008, author David Freddoso commented that “Ayers and Dohrn escaped prosecution only because of government misconduct in collecting evidence against them”.
