I agree that this is a good ad that should be ran.
Lay the premise how often Obama has raised or supported tax increases in the past......This things will hammer him. How are we 3 weeks out and these have been done yet? Mind-numbing....
Luntz is a smart guy and was giddy. This is how McCain can beat Obama. Time to take the gloves off. Hit Obama with this and Sarah Palin. Have a 10 Point Plan To Fix all the crap and also how President McCain will shut down ACORN.
I watched all of their ads and they very simple, succinct and real. No gloom or scary theme music or foreboding female voice.
It looks like real people indicating they aren’t fooled with pretty obvious facts that the McCain campaign has been unable to convey.

It stated the concern in a way regular people could connect to it, it directed the blame quickly and in an understandable way at Democrats and advised a cautious vote.
Good commercial IMO.
Good ad, but they also need to point out that Obama has said he’d lower (or at least not raise) taxes on 95% of Americans. HOWEVER, at least 25% don’t pay taxes, so how can he lower taxes on people who don’t pay them? Obviously, people are going to benefiting from the “spread the wealth” Obama Economic Plan.
It’s a very good ad. I’m pretty savvy and I didn’t realize that Obamas “tax cuts” only kicked in after Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire.

10 minutes with Sarah and McCain jointly to set the stage
20 minutes with McCain discussing the plans for the economy.
10 minutes of biographical stuff (Sarah narrates McCain’s and vice versa)
15 minutes of Sarah hammering on Obama on all issues
5 minutes of thematic wrap-up with McCain and Sarah.

Three weeks of ads like that one by the McCain campaign and its surrogates would definitely have a positive impact on voters in McCain’s favor.
Still, tonights debate is critical in setting the stage for McCain’s final push towards election day.
Those Let Freedom Ring ads are everywhere too and very effective.
