The Chicago-area nurse who exposed the practice of life-birth abortions that led to he bill Barack Obama repeatedly opposed in the Illinois legislature says Obama lied about his record during the final presidential debate. Jill Stanek says Obama again misrepresented his position and record before the American people.
As LifeNews.com reported, John McCain took Obama to task during the debate when the topic turned to abortion.
“Sen. Obama, as a member of the Illinois State Senate, voted in the Judiciary Committee against a law that would provide immediate medical attention to a child born of a failed abortion. He voted against that,” McCain said.
Obama responded to the charge by repeating his claim that he voted against the bill because it would have undermined Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case that allowed virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy.
However, as Stanek explains, Obama voted for an amendment to the bill to mitigate those concerns and subsequently voted against the legislation anyway.
Stanek said the bill, the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, “simply stated all born alive babies became legally protected persons immediately upon birth, no matter what gestational age and no matter if unwanted abortion survivors.”
“Obama voted against this straightforward human rights legislation four times stating as the sole state senator speaking against it on the Senate floor in 2001 it would be ‘unconstitutional’ to declare very premature abortion survivors persons,” Stanek explained.
Obama also defended his votes against the anti-infanticide bill by claiming "there was already a law on the books in Illinois that required providing lifesaving treatment.”
Stanek also called that a “lie” saying “Illinois abortion law to this day only protects abortion survivors their abortionist deems fit to live.
“The potential for subjective assessments in these cases is clear to all but Obama. In fact, Obama opposed closing this loophole by voting against legislation to mandate a second doctor be present at deliveries of all live abortion survivors to independently assess their viability,” she said.
Obama not only voted against the bill to protect newborns who survive failed abortions but the Chicago-area nurse says he took a leadership role to defeat it.
Stanek points to Obama’s own campaign web site which indicates he approached the Illinois Planned Parenthood affiliate to develop a strategy to defeat that measure and the ban on partial-birth abortions.
Despite Obama’s claims, Stanek says Obama ultimately voted in 2003 against a version of the bill identical to a Congressional anti-infanticide bill the Senate approved on a 98-0 margin and on which the pro-abortion group NARAL took no position.
“He then purported several times, as recently as August 16, 2008, that the bills were not identical and he would have supported the Illinois version had it been the same as the federal version,” she said.
Obama’s campaign finally had to recant from that position after documents from the Illinois legislature proved him wrong.
“I'm beyond disgusted that Obama continues to repeat the same lies without the mainstream media investigating and denouncing him. We'll see what tomorrow brings,” Stanek concluded.

Few understand that the assurance of a dead child killed by neglect of a live birth child is the hallmark of induced labor abortion. On 2000-JUL-20, the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL) issued a press release criticizing H.R. 4292. They asserted that extending legal personhood to premature infants who are born alive after surviving abortions constitutes an "assault" on Roe v. Wade. By providing legal rights to born-alive infants "at any stage of development," including those who had achieved viability, the supporters of H.R. 4292 are "directly contradicting one of Roe's basic tenets."
Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH), testified before the Subcommittee that providing legal personhood to premature infants who survive abortions "is an attempt to do what the U.S. Supreme Court has strictly forbidden over and over--it unduly restricts a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy."
Tubbs' wording is almost the exact same sentence Barack Obama used to defend induced labor abortion in Illinois. You see, the real truth about Barack Obama is that he worked hard to disenfranchise the Constituionally defined person just born and alive.
Barack Obama was working to remove human rights from already born alive infants, to protect a particular form of abortion aimed at killing born infants via neglecting medical assistance for them.
So when Obama says he would not withhold medical help for just born babies, he is lying since that is EXACTLY what he sought to accomplish with his opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection bills which came forward while he was in the Illinois legislature. Induced labor aboriton kills by exactly that method, withholding medical assistance for already born alive INFANTS. Obama believes in INFANTICIDE as a means to 'address the health of a pregnant woman', even though the child is no long a pregnancy for the woman once thew alive child is born and separate from her body.
So, Barack Hussein Obama defended infanticide as a means to protect Roe v Wade and thus empower himslef and his democrat party. and folks, that's just plain evil.

I heard someone saying the other night that Even the beast of the field fight to defend the right of their young, and How far we have declined as a nation when we, as humans, choose to kill our own babies. It’s the shedding of innocent blood! An abomination.
This is one lie I was wishing Mccain would have refuted a little better than he did. I was angry that he sat there and lied to the american people and no one seems to care(in the media). Theese liberal kooks want to save everything but innocent babies. Save the earth, save the animals, treat terrorist with dignity and honor, yet we have the right to choose to murder our babies so we won’t be punished by them. Man, these people are wacked. Barack Obama has stated openly to Planned Parenthood while speaking at one of their conventions that he will erase ALL laws which have come into existence which he feels restrict abortion on demand. That is fact and it is telling of the man and his political party. It also doesn't effect the minds or votes of millions of people who profess to be christians, Protestant or Catholic.
It takes at least two days to commit partial birth abortion or induced labor abortion. In two stockmarket days more than two trillion dollars of 'wealth' were erased. God is the giver of Life. How did he get there?
In Barack Obama's reasoning, a pregnant female goes to an abortionist to end a pregnancy. The abortionist determines that this female is between 16 and 24 to 26 weeks pregnant, that the alive child within her--the fetus--has been alive as a distinct human organism for 16 to 24 weeks. So this abortionists decides to use a growing in popularity form of abortion to kill this alive child. The method is called 'induced labor abortion' where the abortionists causes the female to go into labor and deliver a very premature alive child, then he or she is killed by the simple act of neglect, neglecting to give any attention to the struggling to breathe child so the alive child eventually suffocates to death. There are recorded cases where it took hours for these little ones to finally die, and they struggled for hours to try and breathe, to continue living.
Born Alive Infant Protection legislation was aimed at extending protection, medical treatment, to these struggling alive premature babies. Barack Obama opposed that aid to these struggling children because in his twisted democrat mind that would go against the reason the pregnant female goes tot he abortionist!
When pushed to explain his opposition to these bills, last night Barack Obama resorted to the tired mantra of protecting a woman's health thus protection of Roe v Wade is the most vital issue in the life debates. The question that media bastards will not ask this dead-soul servant of hellish evil is 'How does killing an already separated from the female's body alive achild help the female's health?'
Mediadom (and FOX NEWS is now a prime member of this demonic army) are serving evil at the most basic and obvious level, using their position of informers to prevent information from being given to we the people. A lady received a word from the LORD saying “Their cry for change is greater than their cry for mercy; A king they want a king I shall give them.” Many leaders have been encouraging people to pray!!!!!!! We need to cryout day and night before God’s throne for His mercy. We need to pray Mccain and Palin into the White House. From what I see in the Bible and from personal experience, God only seems to deliver us when we turn to Him and cry out for His mercy and Justice in this earth. I truly believe with all my heart that Palin is our Esther, who God will use to deliver us and Israel out of the hands of Haman, if we as His people, let Him know that we want deliverance from this evil. God never forces Himself on a Nation that doen’t want Him, but always draws near to those who will seek,draw near,and cleave to Him.
There was an E-mail that my husband and I had received that called the body of christ to intercede for this election. It was a 40 day call to pray and mourn for this nation. I believe that if we continue to pray that God will give us the victory. I just keep standing on His promises in His word as I pray and believe His arm is still strong to save His people.
