Script For "Fight" (TV :60)
ANNCR: The last eight years haven't worked very well, have they?
I'll make the next four better.
Your savings, your job and your financial security are under siege.
Washington is making it worse - bankrupting us with their spending.
Telling us paying higher taxes is "patriotic"?
And saying we need to "spread the wealth around"?
They refuse common sense solutions for energy independence.
So every day we send billions to the Middle East.
We need a new direction and I have a plan.
Your savings. We'll rebuild them.
Your investments. They'll grow again.
Energy. We'll drill here and we'll create a renewable energy economy.
Lower taxes and less spending will protect your job and create new ones.
That'll restore our country.
Stand up with me, let's fight for America.
JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approve this message.

Too late.
I don't see how anyone will be able to lower taxes given the amount of bailout debt the govt is now on the hook for.
“The last eight years haven’t worked very well, have they?”
I think McCain plays into Obama’s anti-Bush rhetoric a little too easily. He could at least add, “I won’t administer this nation as just another Democrat like George W. Bush.”
Why did you even bother to respond.
Go eat some worms.
He’s wrong to disown the last eight years. I wish he’d had THIRTY MORE SECONDS to finish what he started last night, when he began to note that the Dems took charge two years ago.
His voice and inflection are horrible. Some of the words are good, but the delivery leaves something to be desired.
“I don’t see how anyone will be able to lower taxes given the amount of bailout debt the govt is now on the hook for.”
Since when can’t the government run budget deficits? Where have you been?
Oh I’m sorry, I was thinking we would run gov’t responsibly.
Whoa...need more coffee.
;)
Very good... I think McCain/Palin need to continue the stand up and fight theme, it was excelent in his acceptance speech and its largely been lost since then. I’m sure he’s said it in his stump speeches, but its not coming across as a theme in his campaign marketing.
EXCELLENT AD
simply and effective for the mushy headed middle voter.
I love it
20 days until the election.
This is the time that some folks just START paying attention and decide.
The comments after the video are asking for more details.....guess all those guys can't find the JohnMcCain website but somehow can find Youtube. LOL
Is someone getting “debt” and “deficit” mixed up?
Probably not a FReeper, most know the difference.
You ask the avg person though, and they’ll have no clue.
With all due respect, just shut up.
Great ad...he needs to do more of these along with the attack ones. A balance of the two kinds.
Sarah needs to do some ads. She’s a friendly face, and speaks from the heart.
"Why did you even bother to respond.
Go eat some worms.""
Sounds as if he already did. LOLOLOLOLO
You folks crack me up!!!! LOLOLOL
God bless America!!!
