We're so pissed, we wanna give communism a try! Stupid voters don't deserve freedom, but it's a shame we all have to suffer.

They spend so much time dreaming, you have to wonder if they’re ever really awake...

Yeah let’s reward Reid, Dodd, Pelosi, Rangel and Barney Frank for their great work!

Idiots.

No one held a gun to the GOP’s head to support that bailout. It’s awfully hard to argue the democrats are communists when the GOP is trying to socialize banks.

Chambliss brought it on himself with his amnestry attempt and other disregard for our State’s citizens.

My congressman is an American so I’m happy but I can’t blame those who got screwed by theirs.

Hell, I’d consider voting out McConnell after he crammed through that trillion dollar bailout with Harry Reid.

"My range of likely Democratic pickups now is six to eight, but I don't dismiss the possibility of nine," said Miss Duffy of the Cook Political Report. With that number of pickups, Democrats would gain a 60-vote majority, enough to shut down Republican-led filibusters that often have succeeded in blocking Democratic measures.

Just imagine how pissed the Democrats would be if they picked up exactly 9 seats. That means they couldn't boot Joe Lieberman from their caucus and strip him of his committee chair without losing their filibuster-proof majority.

Be that as it may, I don't see the Democrats picking up 9 seats. Six or seven at the worst.

I hope these idiot voters are pleased when the White House and two houses of Congress are all controlled by extreme left wingers with no checks and balances (and the Supreme Court soon to follow).

More inside the beltway blather.

We’re mad as hell, hate the media, and hate communism even more.

I don’t think some people understand how much things came to a standstill as far as the economy is concerned, something had to be done to try and restore confidence. What happens on Wall Street, affects main street, pensions, 401ks, when companies go under and unemployment rises, it affects everyone, it all has a ripple effect. Would people prefer to see high unemployment, would they prefer to see pension funds even more decimated than they already are?

Bush seemed to think he would be more popular with the voters if he spent more money. He was a “compassionate” conservative.

His tax cuts were great, but his spending habits were actually much worse than clinton’s.

And under his leadership both Republicans and Democrats voted to spend like drunken sailors, and ratcheted up their earmarks and pork.

He also made the grave mistake of sticking with folks like Greenspan and Paulson, who were all the time working for the Democrats and the corrupt plutocrats who blew leveraging and derivatives up to astronomical levels—about $600 trillion at last count.

So, he may have been a decent guy, but he hadn’t a clue about economic discipline. Sure, it was guys like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd who supervised the stealing. But what was Bush doing all those years? Smiling—while they spent more, and more, and more.

For a Congress with a low approval rating the Repubs have done an awful job connecting their local candidate to dem Congressional leaders.

“Think the last Congress sucked, then why vote for a dem, they ran the show.”

The gutless congressional Republicans ought to start a huge reform movement to dump Frank and Dodd as finance committee chairmen for causing our current financial crisis.

Can't these Republican turkeys in Congress see that doing so is becoming necessary for them even to survive as an effective force in Congress?
