Great story.
Worth circulating.
My favorite part:

“If (Obama) wins and puts into effect what he wants to do, there’s a very good possibility myself and my employees will be out of a job,” said Keller, who was working a job at the Decatur YMCA Thursday afternoon. “I can’t afford to pay more taxes. In the plumbing industry, right now with the economy the way it is, it’s been hit really hard. Realistically, a plumber’s about the most American profession you can be in. (Obama) comes across a plumber and actually has the nerve to tell him to share the wealth.”

Proves that this story has legs and it proves that every town has people that can relate to Joe the Plumber.

This incident is driving home McCain's message about Obama's tax plan better than any commercial could have.

McCain finally has a working class icon on his side.
A laborer, who works with his hands and gets his hands dirty.

Loving it.

Joe the Plumber - the man - is not as important as the country he represents.

But HUSSEIN is too disconnected and too elitist to realize it. HUSSEIN associates with the Warren Buffet types, not the low-life six-figure income earners.

There’s a commercial for Angie’s List that I despise about the woman’s plumber walking her dog Molly the papillon...it’s on every morning during Fox & Friends. Whiny woman’s voice, “Joe’s been my plumber for 15 years...” I wonder if they’ll still run it.

There are liberal plumbers but in general they are a very conservative lot.

Repair work is for the self motivated, disciplined, men that can push through adversity and not give up.

I have worked 56 hours straight without sleep, I have crawled on my back in six inches of water under a house in 20 degree weather to solder a pipe.

When the job has to be done and you are the plumber, there is no else to call, you have to push through fatigue and hours of being soaked in water up to your waist during cold nights, if that is what it takes to get the water back on by the time the people in the apartment complex have to wake up for work.

Interestingly enough, many plumbers also work on commission, these are all work conditions that makes for a largely conservative crowd.

It's surprising in many ways - I assumed that since the link went to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they would have found a "Joe Plumber" who wanted Obama elected.

I guess if they couldn't find someone to give them the story they wanted, they had to go with the story they had. Accidental good journalism...

This plumber "flushed out" the socialistic philosophy of Barack Obama and captured the attention of ordinary Americans by his candor. That's why the MSM and Democrats will try to ridicule him like they have Palin.

He caught Obama in an unguarded moment, and the usually unflappable, cool facade dropped, and we saw the ugly message of every socialist regime--redistribution of wealth from those who earn it to those who do not, all to accrue political power to themselves.

It is the very definition of tyranny, and America's Founders decided against it over 200 years ago. Their choice was for private enterprise, private property rights, liberty for individuals, and limits on government power.

Reading this article reminds me of how God in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament often used ordinary people to change the course of human events. IMO, Joe the Plumber could be an example of just such a person. He quite by “accident” got Obama to let the public see what is behind the mask. The more the “undecideds” think about the effect Obama will have on an already struggling economy, the less likely they are to vote for him. God works in mysterious ways and He is in control of this election!

I think that most people in Washinton have forgoten what this country was really built on. Obama wants to take money from me and my employees to spread around, but his economic advisers helped to put us here. Americans aren’t innocent most of use got caught up living beyond our means. But in the 750 billion dollar bail out bill was a section to give money to the makers of wooden arrows for kids bow and arrow sets... give me a break, that’s just another reason why gov. (Obama) has no business being there. Who is going to bail out the plumbers who have been hit nation wide, along with all americans. the only way out that I know for my company and my guys is to get to work, do the job right and do it 1 time. Washington should have the same idea because that’s the only way this will work. I had no idea that my comments would go so far. I’m glad I’m not alone. Thank you for you’re comments. God bless
