Citizens of Toledo can breathe a lot easier knowing that their tax dollars are being used to protect them from the dangers posed by an intelligent guy who works 10 to 12 hours a day to support himself and his son.
Now he’ll have to rely on unemployment and maybe food stamps and other gummint handouts. As it should be.
Phew! Just think of what could have happened if the authorities had not intervened in time!

Go back to DU noobie. He WORKS FOR A LICENSED PLUMBER. In Ohio He doesn't need a license to do that. He's working on his licensing so that he can buy the business! Get your facts straight.

I know these licensing systems aren’t perfect, but they’re there to protect citizens, to keep them from paying top dollar for shoddy work from someone that may or may not know what they’re doing, and they’re there to level the playing field for people in the profession. We have licensing in Virginia too. But the state doesnt require that every single employee be licensed. It does sound like Toledo has gone overboard.

you don’t have to be part of a union to be a plumber and no he’s not a licensed plumber yet because he said he was going to buy the business.
I don’t know that you need a license to work for a plumber?
