I think we should all wait and see what Powell actually says before passing judgement on him.

That’s what I said, it makes no sense to judge him based on rumors.

Colon was the diversity general and a basic failure in reasoning and leadership Kuwait and Sec. of State. The real brains behind Gulf 1 was Norman Schwartzkopt.

One thing bothers me about this. If Powell was ready to endorse a few months ago, his campaign might have asked him to hold off for a few months. It is now a few months later.

And I disagree with all the people here who think that a Powell endorsement won’t mean anything. It will mean a good deal to the squishy middle voters, especially those who are still very nervous about Obama’s ability to handle foreign policy issues. And likewise, a Powell endorsement of McCain will have a positive, opposite effect on these same voters. Not a game-changer effect or anything like that, I’m just sayin’.

He isn’t and never was a Republican.
He was selected to serve as Secretary of State by a Republican President.

That being said, so what? He’s black, Obama’s Arab, how is this news? Will Tom Brokaw break in when Al Sharpton officially endorses him?

I'm with you on that, that it could influence the "swing vote". And the squishy voters are mostly the ones who remain undecided.

Colin Powell disagrees with you. He addressed the 2000 GOP convention attendees as "My fellow Republicans."

Blood is thicker than logic!!! Powell was a “dishwater” general and a poor diplomat.

And JC Watts has said nothing about how he will vote, either.

Yes, but give ol’ Bill credit where credit is due: he loves Sarah Palin.

But yeah. :)

That was last year, in the (pre-)primaries.

If Powell hasn't given McCain any money this year it could be a bad sign.

Colin Powell is not a very stable man, let him click his hills and endorse anyone he wants.

Hey, media morons, let me spread a new rumor.

Tiger Woods is building a new beachfront house in Florida. He will likely endorse McCain early next week. If he doesn't, he'll secretly root for McCain to win.

Reliable Source: my brain.

“The bottom-line on this mediocre and highly forgettable, affirmative action no-talent.”

How did Obama get to Harvard? With whose money? Ayers? “

Check the article “The Mansourian Candidate” and you will find out.

Dr. Khalid al Mansour got Obama into Harvard by ‘pulling strings’.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/activism-news/2106875/posts

Infamous Percy Sutton, the former civil rights attorney for Malcolm X, now in his later years, was on a local New York show called “Inside City Hall” with host Dominic Carter. It was during his talk with Carter where Sutton brought up his support for Sen. Obama’s candidacy, and explained the first time he heard of young Barack. Sutton stated:

I was introduced to him (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him and the friends name was Dr. Khalid al Mansour from Texas (emphasis added)… He is the principle advisor to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.

Sutton continued:

He wrote to me about him and his introduction was ‘there is a young man that has applied to Harvard and I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak, would you please write a letter in support of him?’… I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends at Harvard saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I sure hoped they would treat him kindly.

Why Bush made him SOS I’ll never know. Wait a minute. Could it be because neither of them are conservative?

Flash! Bush 41 and 43 to endorse Obama!
